  1. My daughter is an Event Planner/Marketing Director/and Creative in-house Graphic Designer for a large Law Firm with offices from coast to coast. I’d dare say her job description and her actual accomplishments in any given year would put the Kennedy Center Director to shame. For a tiny fraction of that creep’s salary

  2. Was just reading an article by the Regina Leader-Post about the REAL organization and how they are begging for more money from the City of Regina, after Regina bailed them out by over 12 million dollars last year. It is also headed up by people who are paid obscene amounts of money. And of course, they are blaming COVID-19 shut-downs instead of their own gross incompetence.

I am reminded of this when reading about the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

    1. The City of Regina tax increase for the year is looking like it’ll be 8.5% + another 5.82% for utility price increases.
Which seems high to me, in that not everyone benefits from the “REAL Organisation” yet it needs another bailout … how are the roads going to be in 2025? I know actually, I grew up there and my expectations would be a “major fails everywhere” …

  3. Democrats are free to donate their own money to the Kennedy Center.

75 million people voted for Kamala Harris. They are also free to donate their own money to USAID “charities”.

    If each gave only 30 cents a day, that’s $8.2 billion per year. Go for it Dems. (0.3 x 365 x 75,000,000)

  4. I’m not interested in underwriting the performing arts or other such events in the nation’s capital or anywhere else. Art like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. IMO 99% of Kennedy Center performances suck.

  5. Sounds like the Kennedy Center got drunk and drove off a bridge killing all the secretaries this time.

  6. Why are the top 5 salaries all for the women folk? Is that normal? #nevermind
I’m pleased that the Chief Electrician is paid $255k which is more than the General Counsel (lawyer?) at $213k but am curious as to if that is the regular union rate in DC … I hope that’s the normal union rate, and believe this gives lawyers something to aspire to if they someday decide to join the real world.

I did some plumbing work at an electrician’s house who worked for a well known Sask. commercial institution of entertainment, and thought “how odd to have chosen orange commercial duty electrical outlets and an 1 horsepower commercial duty garburator” for a simple 4 bedroom residential house.
    It’s probably nothing…

    1. And speaking of gay electricians making a shitload of money … what does the KC’s “Best Boy” earn? And how much for the “Best Boy Grip”?

Nothing like a Good Grip when you’re making rainbows … Gay electricians are the stalking horse of pedophilia

  7. According to some, the reason those people are bringing in big salaries is for their “ability” to fundraise.

Somehow, in 2022, they managed to lose $12,975,193, despite employing these people with “ability” to fundraise.

They also paid $11,704,000 to a company called Honors Productions Inc, run by Ricky Kirshner, a well connected democrat who produced the DNC’s Convention in 2000, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020, along with doing work for Obamas and Bidens inaugurations.

It’s a club and you ain’t in it.

  8. Those salaries are obscene. But, also, amusing. The second lowest is the Chief Financial Officer.

  9. One assumes that concert-goers have their feet washed before each performance. It’s only fair.
