It’s Not Hypocrisy, It’s Hierarchy

National Post- CBC lawsuit against Conservatives cost $400K, but cost was shielded from Parliament for years

“The Trudeau government has just given up on its promise of openness and accountability,” Plett told the National Post. “In this specific situation, we had to go around roadblocks that were set by the government to get an answer to my questions three years ago.”

“Somebody needs to be held accountable for this because we have the right to have these answers,” he added.

  1. Does anyone believe that the CBC would have sued the Liberals if they had done the exact same thing?

    Of course not.

  2. “The document shows that CBC’s total legal fees were $359,971.34 and noted there were no additional expenses. ”

And now file a complaint with elections canada that the Liberals who benefited from the CBC lawsuit, received an illegal in-kind contribution from the CBC

  3. The CBC isn’t a news source. It is the propaganda arm of the leftist state which makes it the official opposition of the Conservative Party. It makes perfect sense for such an organization to sue the CPC. That such an organization exists is proof of Canada being little more than a Banana Republic.

  4. Geez! Only $400k! That’s peanuts!

Bet you those law firm members are wishing they’d all grown up to be arrivescammers instead of lawyers.

  5. Its another example of the rot of the Canadian bureaucracy.
Liberal scum run the show – they’re all traitors.

  6. Unless the CBC is required to responsibly inform all Canadians repeatedly over a period of weeks in prime time, of their lawsuit failure and the true cost to Canadian taxpayers, this information is next to useless.

      1. CBC budget is $1.3 billion

        Canada population is 40.5 million

7% of population is 2.8 million

        1300/2.8 = $464 per person

  7. If the CBC still exists 100 days after the election of the next conservative government then conservative canadians must find a way to collapse that government and re-elect the far left radicals who are currently destroying the canadian state.

“Canada” has been reduced to an almost nothing entity, people that live within the geographical boundaries of it would be better off having a more local government that is responsive to them in any case. Nothing our federal government does is helping anyone except for far left radicals pocketing cash.
