  4. I’ve commented on other items like this a few times. That comment is always the same.
    “That ain’t exactly news” or “I am not the least surprised” Or “we already knew this to be the case”.
    We know we are being lied to, that they are manipulating us, and using collective cognitive dissonance to achieve their global plans. Those of us who reject this plan, are considered the enemy and are labelled as conspiracy theorists. Funny how our conspiracies are becoming actual facts.

    I wonder if the Turd is still crying himself to sleep and cuddling his Teddy Bear over this latest revelation!

  6. Has anyone done an analysis of current childhood abuse and worse with the reservation system with what was purportedly happened years ago. Of course any troubles these days would be blamed on what was suppose to have happened in past generations.

  8. There have been over 80 churches in Canada that caught fire as a direct result of this farce. Curious that unless you go digging you’re not going to know that.

Canada had very little “baggage” regarding slavery and when the activists in the USA launched their reparations schtick what possibly could the Indigenous Grievance Train come up with to join the fray. Genocide, yea, that`s it, genocide. The perpetrators of this blood libel should be denied any access to Government funds both personally and institutionally. And to think moves are afoot to prevent any discussion about this fraud under penalty of law.

  9. I was born and raised in a small Manitoba town about fifty miles from the Pine Creek rez. school,and went to school with many of the kids from the nearby town of Camperville. I never once heard any stories of abuse at the rez school, though some kids said the nuns who ran it were very strict. So were the white teachers at our school, ” the strap” was in favor in those days and if you screwed up you got it!

    I knew family members of the Nepinak clan, Derek was and is an activist, educated on the federal government coin at the U.of Calgary, now he’s the Chief, and is infamous as the guy that blockaded the rail line to Churchill a few years ago.

    The Pine Creek Rez school in the 1950’s had a very good hockey team, coached by a young French Canadian priest who was also a very good hockey player. All the kids on his team skated like Montreal Canadiens. The kids on the team seemed to really like the guy.

    Again, it was a small town, and I never heard a word about any abuses at that Rez. School, probably because there was none. My Mother and Grandmother knew Indian women who had attended that school, and they were never told any tales of abuse either, just some mention of the fact that they were taught some valuable life skills they’d have never learned on the Rez.

    The Rez Schools issue has become an industry,just like the overall Indian Industry.The schools weren’t utopian, neither were ours, of course there were some abuses and abusers, just as there would be in any large group of boarding school teachers and students. We town kids also suffered under a few sadistic and piss poor teachers, but we weren’t given reparations. I heard of one teacher that gave kids the strap for speaking their native tongue, Ukrainian, but I wasn’t in that class.This is a well planned method of further dividing our country and weakening us. I won’t hypothesize on who’s behind it, most SDA regulars probably have the same opinion.

    The Indian Industry dwells on the negatives because there is BIG money in doing so. I’m shocked that Chief Nepinak admitted they found no bodies, maybe he isn’t as much the activist as he gets older.
    Pierre Trudeau said we shouldn’t try to make reparations for the past, one of the few times I agreed with him.

    1. Chief Nepinak said they found no bodies, but sounded quite disappointed they didn’t. That should tell you what kind of grifting game they’re playing with taxpayers’ dollars.

      1. Yes. Damn, no bodies. It is so disappointing to not find the bodies of murdered children. How can we string this out without bodies. I guess we fall back to the position that the massacre sites are “sacred” and can’t be touched.

    2. Very well said Don! I grew up about 2 miles from a reserve in Sask and my dad, an immigrant from Europe before WW1 worked with, and employed Indians for his entire life.
      They were of a different culture but when they worked for him, they were great. Needed a few allowances here and there, but…
      Dad said many times that the Indians helped them survive the first couple of winters thus he “Owed Them a lot!”

      1. I too grew up a couple miles from a rez. My father often hired peeps from he rez to help out during harvest. The one quirk I recall was that they were paid on Friday and did not show up for Sat. or Sun. Dad would drive to the rez and bail them out so that they could get to work on Monday.
        Later, I worked for Coke driving a delivery truck. The rez was on my route for delivery on Wednesdays. The RCMP station was on the route but I never saw anyone at the station. I once met an officer off the rez and asked him why no one was ever around on Wednesday. He said that everybody had Wednesdays were their day off because the weekends were their bustiest and the cells were always full.

        But here’s the thing. During the week they worked like everyone else. The week ends were for fun. If you think about it, they were like people in communist countries. When you can not afford or are not allowed to own a home, you spend your money on booze and other diversions.
