      Seriously, I’m pretty tolerant of others so long as they keep their peculiarities to themselves. It’s when the odd ducks demand everyone accepts AND supports their practices, using the full force of government, that my feathers get ruffled, mightily.

      And that includes all those who want to replace hospitals with crystal healing and aroma therapy centers, although I could come around to their way of thinking, given the current state of government bureaucrat controlled medical practice. The two systems are approaching parity.

      Leave me alone. Include me out of your personal peccadillos. They are yours, not mine.

  4. Mandating use of French in the Private Sector…spells big trouble. There will be multiple complaints about companies unable or unwilling to carry the financial and cultural burden of this in English Canada. There will be federal government-financed leftist moves to boycott, and engage in law suits against those that do not comply.
    Then, sometime in the relatively near future, every citizen will be mandated to engage in conversations initiated in French.
    Quebec will ignore any movement toward reciprocity.

    1. The solution is to ban French and English and mandate that all conversations be in Mandarin. Might as well get the jump on pleasing the new rulers.

    2. The French will get their way, companies will leave and people will be poor.
