Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Exercise is a white supremacist thing.
How long until they suggest we all return to the trees?
ps. Jesse Owens is spinning in his grave.
Basketball, football, soccer, track and field, I often wondered why I never see any black people taking part. Is that because it is exercise?
Boom! That was masterful.
Biden appoints someone to a position for which they are ill-suited? I’m sensing a trend.
Anyone, especially in Canada, who purchases a EV hasn’t really thought things through. These range limiting, very expensive vehicles will keep one within about 100kms of your home, depending on ambient temperatures.
and don’t park it in a garage attached to your house.
The only advantages of an EV?
If someone steals it they won’t get too far. Much harder to get it overseas.
Arsonists will love them!
They are also much quieter, which makes vehicular jihad much easier if you are mowing down the victims from behind.
You are correct Rob and right on cue Goose bay has stepped to the forefront by ordering EV buses. Goose Bay; I thought it was a joke but no, it’s true. I’m glad I live in Florida.
“Liberal corruption,” is that redundant?
When you’ve lost the Toronto Star:

Albertans are going to be greeted by the Three Wise Men bearing gifts of unemployment, unhappiness and poverty.
And what will happen?
At first I expect a lot of hot air. Maybe even a chinook’s worth, but then it’ll subside, there’ll be some fist shaking by a few, maybe some stone kicking by others and then, finally, grim silent defeat.
RE: The healing lodge and Joyce Kringuk.
I wondered about the assault weapons ban from a few years ago. Trudeau said that the only reason to have “assault weapons” was to kill as many people as you can as fast as you can. If that was their only purpose, then why were indigenous people exempt? This article shows why.
Rex Murphy writes about Trudeau’s transition plan for Alberta.
Quote: “I do not have the official title of this about-to-be presented legislation. In the happy event it has not yet been determined, I can offer this perfectly realistic one: An Act to Inspire, Lubricate, and in all other manners Facilitate the Separation of Alberta from Confederation.”

If only that proposed title was accurate.
The sad fact is, Alberta is no longer the bastion of conservatism and common sense it once was. Calgary elected Nenshi repeatedly. They elected Notley’s NDP, and despite the catastrophic consequences, seem poised to do it again. Oh yes there will be a lot of talk, maybe even a vote on separation (though I doubt it would go that far) but the opportunity for Alberta to leave has passed. Too many lib-lefties now.
