I remember some of the earlier Oscar “highlights” mentioned in the article. I thought that Brando had gone off his rocker when he sent what’s-her-name to turn down his award.
It wasn’t until Redgrave shot her mouth off and, later, Paddy Chayefsky shredded her in response that I finally gave up watching that self-indulgent idiocy. As for the movie Redgrave got her Oscar for, I wasn’t impressed by it.
