The point of lawfare is to get someone with unlimited pockets to attack someone who can be bankrupted before he sees justice. Butts pockets are not that deep. (Though his friends’ pockets are.) If Butts funds this privately, he will lose as much as Peterson.
If he sets up a GoFundMe, I want scrutiny of those donors. (eg. Is there any Canadian government entity sending tax dollars to Butts?)
Oh, Butts has all the resources of the Liberal Party at his disposal. He’ll blow a wad on this. Hell, he may even spend money! (Sorry.) But Jordan Peterson strikes me as a prudent guy, and he too has resources, and he would probably know a good lawyer when he sees one and he’s probably got one. So I don’t doubt that Butts can railroad him, but he’ll find it a damn sight harder to do than he thinks, and it’s going to cost him ways he may not be able to afford.
