I’m probably one of the people that CBC considers “threatening” as was at a CPC outdoor event a few years ago and a female CBC reporter walked up to me to ask me some questions and I responded “sorry, I don’t associate with presstitutes”. CBC probably assumes that people are eager to talk to reporters but I’m not about to have anything to do with people whose job is to use money extorted from me to publish statist propaganda. If they don’t like hearing it, tough.

  17. The new “tactic” for the police and the Liberals is pretty cruel. There are folks being interviewed on the CBC, and they are now saying that the protestors children are in danger; and that the Children’s Aid society is now involved.

    Brilliant. Try and take away their children…and the protest to date will look like a cakewalk. Try to take my kid……you just signed your death warrant.

This is the MSM’s latest tactic, using government approved talking points, “The Freedom Convoy a bunch of racists and bigots so we are going to run stories proving it.” The ‘big’ three, CBC, CTV and Global have all now run a story or three in the last day about how mean and threatening the protestors are to the press. Global even went out of the way to prove how it is all Trumps fault. I have never laughed so much. Oh you poor babies, people are seeing through your B.S. and no amount of government funding is going to get the trust back. Personally, I stopped paying attention to the MSM in the mid 90s. This was after seeing a number of stories getting the basic facts wrong on something I know a great deal of. That got me thinking (bad pion, your only allowed to think what we tell you to think), if the got the basic facts wrong in multiple stories that I know something about. How much did they get wrong in things I don’t know about, and how do I know if they got it right or wrong? I have since then, always taken any thing from the MSM with a large grain of salt.

  20. I’m pretty sure that I’d come across as hostile to most “journalists”. I’d give them a firm “No comment” and if they so much as brushed me with a microphone or camera as I walked past, then it would get physical. Fox News would get the same “No comment” but a less hostile attitude. Rebel News, True North, etc. would be treated well.

I am guessing the CBC is working hand in hand with the Prime Minister’s office to supply false flags to justify online censorship against “hate”, which now includes any criticism of the government and their media partners. I guess CTV and Global are part of it. The legacy media is propped up by the government, and censorship will help kill off competition. The only damage is to freedom of speech, democracy, critical thinking, and all that silly stuff.

  22. What’s is it that journalists keep telling us? Something like choices have consequences. Journalists chose to be lapdogs. They chose to punch down on the working class instead of speaking truth to power. They chose propaganda over investigative journalism.   23. Have any CBC “journalists” been assaulted by the RCMP for trying to ask the Dear Leader a question? No, didn’t think so. David Menzies of the Rebel was recently assaulted by the RCMP in Toronto for doing just that. Did the CBC “journalists” criticize Trudeau and the CBC for this? No, didn’t think so.

  24. I simply find CBC not useful due to its systemic inaccuracy and bias. I make better personal decisions getting information from far better news sources, whether it’s diet, health, investing or even the weather. Blogs like this typify the problem–it’s just a long diatribe of tautologies and begging the question. There’s no actionable empirical content.
