  1. the horse is only ridden for the home side which will be Riders this year.
I once met a whining Edmonton Fan who complained that the horse was ridden for Montreal in the 2000 instead of BC. Calgarys infamous owner had bought the cup hosting from the east and therefore Montreal was the home team as I explained to him . he had been in a bad funk for over 5 years.

  2. The melon story is tremendous.
My official hat is ready to go and my granddaughter and I will be singing Green is the Colour as often as possible during the game….much to the delight of the other assembled family members.
(Except for the one Bombers fan).
    Go Green!

  3. Thank you, “lance”, for not posting the picture of a carcass laying on the banks of the Kicking Horse River. That was classy.
As for the question on the picture: um, no.

  4. I say YES. Gainer doesn’t weigh enough to tire the horse out on the many runs I am sure he will be making.

  5. totally offensive lance.
*Marc shakes his head* stumbles away… muttering “next year, next year…”
    🙂

  6. Watching the six o’clock and saw Ralph Goodale stand up in the House of Commons to wish the Riders good luck in the Grey Cup.
Ralph, please don’t remind people that you are from Regina, we’re really not very proud of that fact around here.
You were one of the leaders of the attempted hijacking of Canadian Parliament a year ago with the abhorrent proposed coalition.
You wanted to stick Saskatchewan with the representation of one MP instead of 13 and Alberta with none instead of 28 [I believe that number is correct]
You better hope that Iffy doesn’t bring the government down anytime soon because we aren’t going to forget the horrid position you and your lying friends wanted to put us in and you will be availing yourself of the reformed EI program.

  7. Best sign at the Calgary/Riders game via TSN?
“PUT YOUR GREY CUP IN MY REGINA!!!”
Go Riders…and their most excellent fans.
