      1. We can thank Trudeau Sr. for this mess. Before the arrogant jerk imposed his Charter upon us we were free to do whatever we felt like unless there was a law to prevent you. Very flexible and clearly written laws, that could be revised deleted, clarified as required to suit changing society, not subject to some nebulous sentiments. His royal highness decided he could write a document that would be all encompassing, all knowing, for now until eternity and subject to ‘interpretation’ from unelected politically appointed hacks.

Whoever thought that the global “reset” agenda was just paranoid thinking, should compare what China Joe said today and what Angry Adolf said today. Both used the same terminology and stressed a reset of their economies, more distribution of wealth to minority groups, global warming scams, and green energy.

    Look, whether you like them or not, CNN is a private company protected by the First and Fifth Amendments. There isn’t anything illegal about being hilariously, over-the-top biased. There isn’t even anything illegal about being hilariously over-the-top biased and then turning around and insisting with a straight face that you’re completely unbiased.

    There is, however, something very illegal about acts of corporate espionage, which is exactly what publicizing internal corporate communications without authorization is. O’Keefe is at least going to be on the receiving end of a massive civil suit, and depending on where this took place he could be facing criminal charges as well.

    You forget that we have the First Amendment and Freedom of the Press* here in the United States, which puts the media above the law – which CNN will be happy to tell you. Remember when Wikileaks got a hold of the DNC e-mails and Chris Cuomo straight-facedly told us that since these were stolen e-mails it would be illegal for us mere citizens to even look at so we would just have to trust him to tell us what were in them since he as a Journalist™ was allowed to look at them? Yeah, the only way CNN is going after O’Keefe is to claim that he’s not a Real Authentic Certified Journalist™ like they are, since they are the ones who get to decide who a Real Authentic Certified Journalist™ is, and that’s probably not an argument they’d care to put in front of the Supreme Court at this juncture.

    *Yes, Freedom of the Press means Freedom of the Printing Press – i.e. anyone is free to publish and distribute whatever they would like since the printing press was the only “broadcasting” method of the time – and not Freedom of the News Media as the news media likes to pretend it means. “The Press” as used to signify “the news media” didn’t come into popular usage until some time after the Constitution was written. There’s nothing sacred about Journalism™ or Journalists™, they don’t enjoy extra Constitutional protections, anybody who writes or publishes anything enjoys the same protections.
