Hey Wealthy Democrats, Start Walking Your Talk!

If you are a non-Black American and consistently vote for Democrats, then it’s long overdue to stop being a hypocrite and turn over your home to Black Americans:

“Give up your house,” an activist shouted into a megaphone.

“Give black people back their homes. You’re sitting there comfortably — comfortable as f*** as if you didn’t help gentrify this neighborhood.”

Another person yelled, “I used to live in this neighborhood and my family was pushed out and you’re sitting up there having a good time with your other white friends.”

One protester chimed in claiming that all the residents of the neighborhood work for Amazon, which is headquartered in Seattle.

  1. So, before the whites, there were the blacks. Anybody want to guess whose land it was before the blacks came along?

    1. When a black family moved in an historically white neighborhood, which caused other whites to move out, it was called blockbusting, and it was a good thing.

    2. I was thinking in terms of what’s become a common refrain here in Trudeau’s Folly, namely being on land stolen from you-know-who.

  2. Communists don’t have an Ownership concept, the idea that someone has paid a Mortgage is unknown… They just wait for the Marxist Government to provide Shelter/ Food/Warmth…& some drugs….. George Soros must be running out of Money…

Laugh of my day: The quoted opinion of ANA Navarro (Rubio’s big butt girl) that those that want the SCOTUS to rule on Kamala Harris’s Citizenship are nasty Trump Birthers…..No Ana it’s not just about a black female, it’s time to settle the Open issue such that the constitution stands or falls…Those that trust legal Scholars are all dead….. .Americans are hesitant to shot other Americans.. Nice to know the enemy before the shooting starts…..

    1. Mortgage unknown? You betcha. Indians in Canada think that the government in Canada gives white people really good houses while the government gives them shacks. The idea that when I wanted water, I paid several thousand dollars and had a well dug is beyond them.

New York is getting interesting. Harlem is no longer majority black. I always wondered how the most expensive real estate in the world shared a tiny island with the hood.

      1. +1. I’ve tried talking to some of the people I went to school with about how things are done in a capitalist system. They can’t grasp it, “but the government does that, so why should I pay for it?”

  3. My favorite quote from the NY Post link is thus:

“Give us our s–t back!” one man yells.

I’m not a Ben Shapiro fan. But, he makes a very good point whenever this “gentrification” topic pops up. He points out that a vast majority of minorities are not kept below the “poverty” line because of racism or bigotry. Most are kept below the “poverty” line due to poor choices and complete lack of priorities. This topic displays such behavior in spades.

This point plays into Bill Whittle’s position that a vast majority of the minority community is living in the past. They, always, look backwards instead of forwards. It’s easier. It’s, also, drummed into them non-stop by the media, education, and their political party of choice. Rush Limbaugh brings out the same joke about once a year where says: “Major planet killing asteroid to hit the Earth tomorrow. Women and minorities hardest hit.”

Instead of complaining when neighborhoods are “gentrified” a forwarding thinking and motivated individual would say to himself/herself “I’m going to get me some of that.” Not…”give me that or else.”

My point? The “big shut up” is coming (trademark: Patrice O’Neal). Liberal guilt only lasts when the issue is pointed at someone else. The right (at least the ones with marbles) have already reached that point. The usual response to this sort of behavior was to ignore it. Now, the common place response is a hardy “EFFFFFF U.”

That’s what motivated many people to emigrate after WW II, going from Europe to “Amerika”. (According to my mother, that name applied equally to Canada and the U. S. A.) The post-war occupation and reconstruction, courtesy of the Marshall Plan, showed people over there what bounty was to be had in North America. Hollywood movies, unintentionally, did their part as well.

Europeans saw “Amerika” as a land of opportunity, one in which one could influence one’s destiny, and believed that they could have some of that if they were patient, worked hard, played by the rules, and used their resources wisely. Fortunately, there was a place for many of them as Canada was desperate for skilled workers at the time. All we wanted was to have the same opportunities as everyone else to seek, and possibly make, our fortunes.

So what’s stopping those crying foul from doing the same?

      1. That was what motivated the European peasants in the nineteenth century. When they got here, they remember their native language and custom, but not fondly of the country, wherein they were treated like dirt. They had no problem with becoming Americans, heart and soul. They built America, and gave convincing evidence that birthrights mean nothing.
After the upheaval of most of the world in WWII, America and Canada were stable and prosperous. You and I were fortunate to be able to take part. My parents were “skilled”, nay intelligentsia in China, but unskilled here. They came with eyes wide open, expecting years of hard labor, but they came to give us children a chance. At times they had to take night shifts, and we were latchkey kids. I am glad to say we did not disappoint them. My baby sister was eight when we came, an awkward age, and had barely learned the English alphabet. She was eventually the valedictorian of her high school graduating class.
The only thing stopping those who cry foul is the abysmal condition of the public schools. And you can lay the fault at the feet of the liberal Democratic politicians and the public teachers’ unions, both of them having fully displayed, nay reveled in their racism of low expectations. But those schools had long been bad, only gotten worse. As poor as we were, the only public school any of us kids went to was my attending the UC system.

        1. As I mentioned several times before, both of my parents were journeymen in their respective trades. However, my mother and father wanted something better for me and they foresaw that, some day, I would go to university. They paid for most of my undergrad education, but, after that, grad school was my choice and largely on my nickel.

My days in university weren’t easy, not that they were supposed to be. There was always the possibility that I didn’t have what it took to finish. While failure was nothing to be proud of, to my parents and me, it would have been far more honourable if it came only after I did my best. To fail because I didn’t apply myself would have been shameful.

Many of your observations about the public school system could just as easily apply to some of the post-secondary institutions I was associated with. You may remember the “Lazy Man’s Way to Riches” ads that often appeared in the back of certain magazines. Unfortunately, the post-secondary educational system is nearly as bad.

  4. Hey Progressives (there’s nothing Liberal about them): You filled the crab bucket (of identity politics), you get to empty it or at least stick your face in it!

  5. This is why I support defunding the police. The victims of that will be blacks and rich liberals, the two constuencies demanding it.

  6. And I’m sure the whites in that mob have given their (parents’) houses to deserving blacks.

  7. Reminder that the liberal elites who campaign publicly for the liberation of their black brothers always arrange privately for the rapid sale of their assets and their departure for countries that are blessedly free of black people.

If you can convincingly lie about having had a Jewish grandfather, Israel is an option. (It was extremely popular post-apartheid with white English-speaking South Africans who couldn’t get visas for the United States.)

Failing that, an Overseas Chinese wife who maintains connections in the old country is an excellent investment if you plan to retire to Singapore or Macau.

  8. Now huge BLM supporter Jeff Bezos is entertaining the thought of relocating his Seattle employees affected by the ANTIFA &BLM violence to relocate and work in other municipalities.
See how this works? Those very same progressive disciples will carry on preaching their social justice gospel to the unbelievers in other places. What, you think this little ideological kerfuffle will change their minds??? Oh please, they’re just getting started.
Just look at Austin Texas and you’ll get an idea of what I’m talking about.

    1. There’s little chance that the politics of Renton, Seatac, Lynnwood, Bellevue, Kirkland, etc are much different than Seattle. Maybe 75% as bad, but they are all largely Demarxist strongholds, the state of Washington is a Demarxist stronghold and wasteland.
That said, the state’s economy is hurting, particularly the northern part. It was totally dependent on cross border shoppers for its existence, that has been gutted since March.

  9. Threatening allies is a poor plan. Eventually everybody is going to hate BLM so much they’ll have to go underground
because the majority of the black community is certainly getting fed up.

  10. I’m waiting for when they enter and do this in the white gun owner neighbourhoods.
If the government won’t provide law and safety, the regular person will have to do it themselves.

  11. God I’m loving this!

Nothing like watching a commie lib walk a bull into a China shop, then start peeing themselves when they find out they gotta pay for the damage.

  12. Yup. Im all for this. Time for lefty hypocrites to f-off and find other digs. For example the old Pope. He’s been preaching at us to open our hearts and homes. Time to turn the Vatican into a commune for Kenyan muslim refugees.

  13. Let’s be reasonable here. The rich should only have to give one their homes to the underprivileged community. That should be worth a substantial charitable tax deduction. Then they can buy it back for a song next year at the tax sale auction.
