The Oregon State Police announced on Thursday that it was pulling out its roughly 100 state troopers from protecting the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse in downtown Portland after the city’s district attorney announced that he is not pursuing charges against the rioters who have been arrested.

This guy is a hero to many (including myself) who was instrumental in helping to revitalize the city by injecting street life and vitality into what we’re otherwise dead neighborhoods. Philly was a town that used to roll up its sidewalks at night 25-30 years ago. Those days have now returned, thanks to a woke commie mayor and police commissioner (formerly from Portland) who issued standdown orders and let the BLM savages completely destroy the city’s premier shopping/restaurant district in town. This guy shutting down operations will be devastating to the city. Not to mention all the other small businesses and restaurants that are doing the same. I love how all these democrat run cities are all committing mass suicide, destroying the places where they live, all in an effort to defeat Trump in November. Pure evil.

Time to float the idea that “maybe people who moved here from California, should never be able to vote in Texas elections”. I mean, there is a reason they had to leave. Part of that reason, is that they may have supported irrational policy. With secret ballots, there is simply no way to know who exactly supported that policy.
Voting has to be reengineered. Elections have to change. Maybe, policy platforms have to become legally binding; i.e. you are required to publish 3 things that shall not be wavered on (and success or failure has to be objectively defined at the beginning), and in addition, perhaps a list of 10 things that have “wiggle room”. Because emergency/unexpected does happen.
No 5 years plans, no 10 year plans, no bromides; only things that can and shall be completed in a single term.
At the end of the term, if it is determined that any of the 3 things were not completed, then all pay cheques for the entire term (yes, going back years), for the entire bureaucracy, must be repaid with interest. This will stop an entrenched civil service from thwarting the will of the electorate. It can’t be just punishing a few guys at the top, because then the entrenched bureaucracy can simply screw the party they do not like. It has to be a team punishment; it can’t just be suspending Bertuzzi, it has to be “the Vancouver Canucks will play a man short, until such time as Steve Moore plays another NHL game”.
Here are my three promises when you vote for me:
The clerisy shall suffer, as you have suffered.
1) all defined benefit pensions are cancelled, all payouts shall cease, and a law making defined benefit pensions illegal
2) I shall fire, without severance, 85% of the federal bureaucracy; government must be smaller, to govern effectively and efficiently
