    1. FYI … Gov. Gavin Newsom has just assembled a “Restart Economic Task Force” which includes Tom Steyer … WTF!! oh, and other well-known Global Warmist shills: Gov. Jerry Brown … Gov. Schwartzenegger … Janet Yellen … Mark Benioff (salesforce) and some woman who advised Hillary Clinton.

I am literally shitting a golden Twinkie … waiting to hear about their “New Green Deal” restart of CA’s business … just waiting for my property values to crater … further. The CA voters will do NOTHING about these FOOLS … until they’ve burned the house completely down

  1. Here on the Canadian Prairie, April has been brutally cold but yesterday the remaining snow started to melt and open water has finally made an appearance.
The birds were starting to think they took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

    1. I heard and saw my first robin 2 or 3 days ago and the Canada geese are back. There’s a pair that liked to hang around my neighbourhood here in Edmonton for the past few years and they’re back staking their claim.

The rabbits are turning colour and there was one well on its way to being completely brown. They’re out feeding on the grass now that the snow is almost completely gone.

    1. I tend to agree, but, I am thinking, more and MORE, that is really, REALLY insulting mental cases.

      1. No…he’s a clown. That there are people who follow or believe him puts them a notch below a clown….kind of like the type that followed Jim Jones into the jungle.

  2. April 2017 was up to the 80’s in Southern Alberta. The Left was giddy with glee. Once May started the temperature never got much more than 75. The summer of 2017 was mostly in the mid 60’s. The Left insisted April was climate change and the rest of the year was just weather.
We had rain again last December in Calgary. The resident leftist loon wrote to the Sun crying that climate doom was imminent. It’s hard to deprogram the true believers.

Captcha has gone completely berserk this morning.

    1. You might as well navigate Calgary using Captain Jack Sparrow’s compass as try to figure out anything about climate from its weather. Calgary can have nicer days in January than it does in July.

But don’t anybody tell that DiCaprio fella. We wouldn’t want to have him continuing to fly around in his private jet instead of campaigning to keep fossil fuels in the ground.

  3. I live in Tallahassee. It has been warm in early, April, spring break type temperatures, nut not hot.
It has been cooler the last couple of days with highs in the low to mid 70’s/
    Alarmists got to alarm.

  4. I stay on the gulf side just about 45 minutes from Tampa. 72 there this am and that is normal. Wish I was back there.

      1. Nope, Reddington Shores, a bit north of Fort Meyers but just as expensive. This spring was turning out to be one of the nicest in a few years.

  5. I still have 6 inches to a foot of snow in my field. By this time the grass should be starting to turn green. We are at least 2 weeks behind.

  6. “Florida’s record-smashing April temps ‘ridiculous,’ ‘brutal,’ ‘a cruel joke.'”
Partly sunny, warm, high in the mid to upper 80’s. That’s b-e-a-u-t-I-f-u-l weather. Typical spring there. Lovely.
Brutal to watch from northern climes perhaps.

  7. Where McKibben eventually rests will be significantly hotter.
And the sooner he goes, the better.

  8. Typical mainstream media propaganda. Ignore unusual or record cold, promote panic over any heat wave.

  9. Bill McKibben, educator and environmentalist, writer of the end of nature and sundry other crappy books. He is indeed an imbecile.
I am weary beyond weary of imbeciles like him and his retarded ilk.
By the way, it has been a cool spring in most of Canada, except for some hot air at Harrington lake.

  10. Climate: unseasonably warm.
    Weather: unseasonably cold.
Here in Los Angeles we’ve had weather all spring.

  11. The institutional left relishes any and every example of warm weather to validate their theology and to never let up on the political leverage from the CAGW hysteria that now dominates the left while sucking in the incessant compromisers of the so-called right. Notice that the Spawn’s bail out package for the Oil Patch consisted of money only for environmental projects unrelated to Exploration and Production. The winning war on prosperity will continue as long as the institutional left dominates our culture. Most of the pain caused by the overdue recession and Chi-com virus shutdown “after-effects” will be in the private sector where they are not dominant but upon whom they depend. Canada is about to pay dearly for the policies and personalities that over 60% of the electorate voted for.

  12. Alberta wind power currently at 0.8% of capacity.

I’m thinking it’s time for Ottawa, Quebec City, and Victoria to move completely to wind and solar power only.

  13. We had snow twice last week here in south-central Iowa (slightly south of Rome, Italy). The first snow dropped about one inch (25 mm), which melted fast; the second one dropped twice that much, which did also melt fast. The high temperature this past Thursday was 40 F/4.4 C (the historical average for the date is 61 F/16.1 C. Of course, because this is colder than average, it’s just weather, not climate.
