Snipers get expensive when the victims all shoot back. That puts all the future cash from corruption at risk. The dropping survey numbers for the Corruptocrat Party in the Nov., 2020 general election is a likely explanation for the sudden push to confiscate effective weapons from the intended victims.

The Democrats have almost 5 more years of President Donald J. Trump to contend with.
I fully expect the unhinged left to ramp up their calls against freedom, they’ve completely lost on the defining issue of this administration and there’s no way of gaining back what they’ve lost until those that commonly switch parties between the two, forget about what’s happened. Perhaps the next Republican President after Trump will only be elected for a single term as George Bush senior was, but increasingly the Democrats are pushing their platform away from those they need to make a decent run for the Presidency, and increasing the probability of a back to back double Republican administration.
I’m fine with that, just drain the swamp and get on with ridiculing the left.

I recently ventured an opinion on a weather forum that perhaps the recent warming trends were more natural than human-caused than is accepted by the IPCC consensus.
Within days, I was swarmed by a number of strident ideologues willing to tear apart every aspect of my weather-forum existence as though I were at a job interview to become chief of the WMO or something. It was quite bizarre when all I had done basically was to suggest that maybe the warming might not easily go away if they succeed in dismantling the economy of the western world as they seem hell-bent on doing.
And within days they were twisting every comment I made into easier to digest “there is no warming and I deny all the data” type comments that I had never made nor would be likely to support.
They even chased me around from one weather forum to another to make sure nobody would get my message without their frantic calls for orthodox unanimity. I think you would have an easier time of it if you stood up in the Great Hall of the People and denounced Chairman Mao while praising Ayn Rand and evangelical Christianity.
Anyway, I learned my lesson and will only post such ideas in the future as “Greta Thunberg’s Uncle.”
