  1. I am loving the meltdown but I would really like to know how did they manage to keep it suppressed for four years and only release it now? Who is behind it?

    1. Beijing, obviously.

The Chinese have had it with their latest puppet’s incompetence and want him out, no matter what it takes. Their intelligence agencies did the opposition research the Tories wouldn’t do, just in case.

      1. Don’t think so. It would be much easier for Chicoms to sit on these photos and use them as blackmail rather than damage their pawn.

        1. If China was responsible, maybe they have been using them for blackmail but decided they’ve milked as much as they can from Justin. Northern Gateway was just delayed again. Staying with the chess analogy, pawns are expendable. Maybe they think they got a bishop or rook lined up to replace him

      2. You wait until Andy 2% discovers the China issue and the two Canadians they hold hostage; there will be hell to pay.

    2. It would be easier to compile a list of canadian MSM that weren’t suppressing it. Here, I’ve already done that:
      1)……
      2)…..

      List complete.

        1. Did the “brownface” photo exist on-line anywhere before today? If not, was it in a yearbook of the private school? That might narrow down the search. Possibly somebody at that party who isn’t a big fan of the PM.

I have to say, part of me is concerned that this is the “big issue” so far when we have three political parties competing to manage the “climate emergency” (or crisis) and looking for ways to dig deep into our pockets to change the weather. What’s more concerning, that or the brownface episode?

        2. My guess was Freeland and her Nazi counterparts Butts let the brown and black face Trudeau out of the closet.

Trudeau didn’t have a chance in hell of getting re-elected no matter what all the imaginary polls said so the communist leftist Libs did it for the love of their revolution

        3. The National Post has the other photo (I call it “The Groping Aladdin”) on its cover today (Thursday 19 September 2019) and notes:

“Time said it had obtained a copy of the yearbook from Vancouver businessman Michael Adamson and described him as ‘part of the West Point Grey Academy community.’ Time said Adamson, who was not at the party, first saw the photograph in July and felt it should be made public.”

    3. This falls under the category of I don’t give a sh-t. He can dress up as whoever he wishes but his politics still stink as do all liberal socialist politics.

  2. How is this different from Trudeau’s behaviour during the last four years? He’s a hipster dufus, a goofball. He loves costumes.

  3. We should let the NDP run with this ball, there’s a danger of the Liberals rebounding with a theme of conservative stick-in-muds who can’t take a youthful prank, and in any case, it’s their own stock in trade to find nuggets of past indiscretions that can be used to destroy lives in the here and now. More than one Liberal activist tonight must be thinking, maybe we shouldn’t have started this campaign of the politics of personal destruction, who knew it could be used on us as well? And that includes those who have safely stepped to one side to avoid being knee deep in the sewage for the time being.

Much more of this, though, and all the middle-aged to ageless matrons and hipsters will be tut-tutting about Victorian repressions and isn’t Justin such a marvellous fellow with such an ease of dramatic presentation? Not like that stodgy Scheer guy, and what’s Jagmeet so bent out of shape over, he can do brownface every day with no effort at all. Just watch (him).

But we all know who the real Skolds are. They made it their business to keep files on people. Well guess what, two can play at that game.

    1. I agree. Also, the conservatives or Max won’t get a single new vote over this, but it may suppress some of the youth vote for the liberals. Jagmeet might get a handful of switchers.

  4. Notice how the story had to be broken by foreign media, as our own presstitutes would not touch it during an election.

As for the “scandal”, no surprise, cosplayers gonna cosplay.

    1. D.M. , I noticed that too. TIME magazine is reliably left wing, but apparently is beyond the Liberal government’s circle of paid-and-bought-for media.

      1. I just did a very quick Internet trawl.

All the major Canadian newspapers – both English and French – are giving the “blackface” story and image frontpage treatment today.

        1. Jim, true, but, as Canadian Observer mentions below, it is always the international media who break anti-Trudeau stories. The anti-Trudeau media in Canada, those not on the Liberal government payroll, simply do not have the investigative chops to dig into Trudeau’s past. Nearly all the Trudeau scandals have been unearthed by left-wing or international media. Surely someone in British Columbia should have the journalistic inquisitiveness to try to gt hold of yearbooks covering Trudeau’s teaching tenure.

    2. If you will remember, the Canadian media were forced to ‘break’ the SNC Lavalin scandal ONLY because international media were all over it for days before them.

Suppression of information is a key part of fake news and a cornerstone in keeping the left’s narrative alive.

I would love to see Max demand that the Canadian media’s coverage of this election be considered the mega-million dollar campaign donation to the Liberals that it is. Same with Trump and the US media, for that matter.

  5. TIME magazine, elitist mouthpiece. The glow-bull insiders have made the decision that Trudles is too incompetent to push their Agenda 2030. Not only a buffoon, but whatever high priced powders and chemicals Mr. Dressup needs to show up for the job have made him unpredictable and too high maintenance. Serial failures aren’t in the best interests of our overlords. Nor is a brain that has never been troubled with an original thought

Raise your hand if you knew he was a blooming hot mess during his first campaign. The ayes have it. And please, please take thunder thighs Freeland with him
    into well earned obscurity.

  6. Pay backs are a bi**

    You reap what you sow!

Brown and Black Face Trudope went around the world so fast, he is hated not only Canada but all around the world…

    There is a God

The left just got kicked in their imaginary balls

Now for the scary part do the Lib Kick out Trudope and go with Nazi Freeland

    1. I would be willing to let this one pass as far as the leftist “scandal” talking points, but the really issue is this demonstrates what a hypocrite he is with his incessant smug finger wagging lectures and clearly illustrates how he does not believe he and his friends should not have to follow the same rules as those he thinks are beneath him. Time for Canadians to show that nobody is beneath Trudeau.

      1. Absolutely. Some of this campaign has been about petty mud slinging, much of it being calculated hits initiated by Liberals against opposition candidates. Remember the treatment given to those two Liberal MP’s accused of harassment by the NDP woman? They were certainly treated brutally — while Trudeau gets a pass for similar behaviour. The hypocrisy is what people are finding particularly offensive. Not sure how it made the media, though. Someone has it in for Trudeau. The Wells article captures the situation nicely.

  7. Why do we have to import American issues to Canada? Honestly, I don’t give an eff and I am sure most people won’t; this may even help him. But Mr. Progressive is reaping what he sowed here.

  8. PM Two-face.
We all knew he was a hypocrite on several levels: Feminist/Groper, Intelligent/Halfwit, Canadian/K-becer, Familyman/Adulterer. Now we have Sensitive/Racist.
Bernier called him a hypocrite. He is the world’s greatest living hypocrite.
    I wouldn’t doubt we could change Feminist/Groper to Feminist/Rapist.
He’s a sickening person and millions will vote for him because millions of Canadians are sickening hypocrites as well.

  9. In the links, someon asked if Thursday’s day off was a “blackout”. I think in Canada, “whiteout” would be more appropriate, given the snow ‘n’ all.

  10. This black-face scandal reminds me of the “bum patting” scandal that hit then Liberal-candidate John Turner during the 1984 federal election. Then, a number of women complained of Mr. Turner patting their behinds during the campaign, and a small gaggle of professional feminists began to tail the candidate, taping cardboard hands to their rear-ends. The media cartel at the time kept the feminists in the camera limelight, and this “scandal” helped then-PC Leader Brian Mulroney to win.

I was a Progressive Conservative supporter back then, and enjoyed the “scandal” and the bring-down of John Turner. But that imbroglio is similar to what we have today. Trudeau is loathsome, to be sure, and I truly hope he loses. It is true that he is a hypocrite with his multi-cult policies. And, as Paul Wells says in his posted column, the real Liberal campaign is a hidden dirty-tricks campaign to target Conservatives and People’s Party candidates. I get that. But the campaign should be fought on real issues, not what Trudeau did 18 years ago.

Btw, that is the top photo of the young Trudeau? Is he in brownface or what? Is that supposed to be him singing the Banana Boat Song?

    1. _But the campaign should be fought on real issues, not what Trudeau did 18 years ago. _

Snort. You’re making the assumption that Progs are mature enough to vote on the real issues in the first place and not merely a name or a nice ‘do…

      1. Yes, Trudeau is in trouble. But the corporate media, in discussing the blackface scandal, are interviewing aaggrieved multi-cult and “human rights” professionals, playing on the mythical “racism” angst, as if somehow Canada is a racist country. We are not racist, and Trudeau is not racist. He is a hypocrite and a Gersld-Butts-sleaze ball, and a hard-core leftist. He should be attacked on the latter points.

  11. Trudeau likes to play dress-up, India wasn’t his first rodeo on that score but at least he wasn’t doing the Prime Minister gig in previous disguises.

We elected an idiot, we do it again and we are a nation of idiots.

    1. We have far worse options and the list of idiots available to be elected are many, the NDP is chock full of them as are the Greens, the liberals are bad but the other socialists are even more toxic.

  12. Man of Man! I can’t wait till Andrew “Tiger” Scheer stands up at the next debate, point his finger at turdo la doo, and says, “Behold, Ladies and Gentlemen – a HYPOCRITE”.

  13. A Unifor journalist on CBC last night kept saying that Scheer should not say too much, because his support of the pro life movement is the same as wearing blackface.

    1. That’s another one where Liberals are complete hypocrites. They should be wary of bringing up the abortion issue as they have run a government where Canadians are being told that a pro-life decision based on conscience is not allowed. This violates the religious beliefs of many Canadians. Surely all those Muslims in the Trudeau fold are not ok with abortion, and most people are not ok with late term abortions. It’s such a deep moral question, yet Liberals handle it with bully tactics, not even acknowledging the concerns people have.

    2. Yes, I am sure the left would equate killing unborn children with wearing black face. There are no words to describe that that will not get me banned for life.

  14. So does this mean that there will be a liberal minority government. It sure looks that way seeing as Trudeau continues to fumble like a rookie quarterback.

    Prime Minister Andrew Scheer?

  15. I would be happier if the Canadian population awoke to the concept that socialism doesn’t work, and that if we continue on the Liberal/NDP/Green/Bloc paths, we are not going to survive as a nation. And in all, none of those choices work.

  16. It would appear that the the Cult of Justin (formerly known as the LPC) has a real dilemma on its hands. Does it go forward with the man likely to lead them to a Kimmy level of defeat or do they dump the turkey now and save the furniture with a few strong candidates winning their seats without a leader in place? Personally I really don’t care. I want a new country.

    1. And THAT is the Crux of the matter.
Not one Damned thing will change be-it: Minority Lib led Govt, Coalition Lib Left Govt or a Scheer Minority/Majority Govt….Nothing Short of a Full blown Majority for MAX..and even then, I wonder.

      N O T H I N G with change.
Ont/Que votes rule the roost. Power Corp/Laurentien Elites Run this country.
The West will continue to get Screwed over as it has for decades

As such, I too want a new Country. Once done, then as someone previously noted, we negociate Rail Access for Pipeline/Tidewater Access.

      1. Think Churchill MB, just as close to Europe as Halifax, has rail access problems because of permafrost, but pipelines would require far less disturbance of the ground and be far easier to build a stable base for. How many weeks of current transfer payments would be required to cover buying and operating icebreakers to keep the port open year round?

I bet with the right rules for joining in place, if we were so inclined, we could get most of Canada to join the new country, in effect allowing us to create a proper constitution and government for Canada while amputating the GangGreenous regions trying to destroy Canada.

  17. Prinz Dummkopf is busy apologizing all over the place, but not because he dressed that way but because he got caught. He’ll slither his way out of this one, just like everything else, claiming that some people experienced his costume differently.

But Trump’s locker-room comment is still an impeachable offense, isn’t it?

  18. The funniest thing about this is the media tried to lessen impact by calling it “brownface”. Now that a “blackface” photo has also come out, he looks twice as guilty.

This is the fifth column everyone is so afraid of?

    1. Yes, three strikes for sure, there may be more.

How long ago did he cease to be racist?
The sad thing is some of this was done when he was “teaching” which makes it even worse.
This isn’t funny, this is so serious no apology can wipe it away. It’s mockery.

Will he resign? No. We have to ensure he is ousted via our electoral process.
Voting to reelect him takes us all down. Not even a minority will work to show who we are as a people.

  20. I have suspected Turdeau’s mental stability since he entered politics. His latest ‘dressup’ revelations aside the bigger issue is what constitutes a democratic campaign in Canada. The reality is that the media does not hold politicos to account. Their left of center positioning is standard. The major issues that face this country never make the debate stage. Socialism never has any indepth analysis and those that preach it any accountability. Liebels, Dippers and Greenies and even the left of center CPC talk off the top of their heads(?) and get away with it. Bernier of the PPC can fluff off popular themes that conservatives actually like but the meat in the sandwich isn’t there.

All this begs the question of whether the electorate has the intellectual capacity to absorb serious debate. A debate where parties present their philosophical direction and initiatives, without kindergarten interruptions, would be a novel concept. The day is not yielded to the candidate with the loudest mouth even tho media love it. Good governance is not formed around sophomoric wishlists.

    1. Anyone who voted for Margaret Trudeau’s son to be Prime Minister has to be stupider or loonier than her. Seriously folks, where have voters been for the last 40 years? Watching CBC, I guess.

  21. His apology.

“I know who I am! I’m a dude playing a prime minister dressed as another Prime Minister.”.

  22. The thing is, dressing in blackface isn’t necessarily an act of racism.

In the late 1970s, the BBC decided to produce and record all of Shakespeare’s plays and broadcast them over several years. I saw many of them on PBS and, for the most part, they were impressive.

For Othello, the producers chose Sir Anthony Hopkins and, yes, he was in blackface as he was portraying a Moor, after all. Was that disrespectful or racist? Certainly not. Hopkins had to present the sense of betrayal and outrage that his character experienced and wearing black makeup made his acting that much more believable. The play isn’t about race–it’s about loyalty and honour, and Hopkins’ performance certainly conveyed that.

But in the case of Prinz Dummkopf, those pictures reveal his hypocrisy. He went around accusing conservative whites as being bigots while presenting himself as noble and pristine, without blemish or flaw. He implied that he doesn’t entertain such thoughts, never did, and never will.

  23. The dickhead made racism an issue. He made his bed. Hope he enjoys lying in it. The pot calling the kettle black?

    1. Exactly. How many ex-liberal candidates must be getting drunk tonight. And Andy 2% is equally guilty for going along with this BS.

    1. Canada’s special attack soldier, you know, the one allowed to carry and fire a gun, goes into action to release the prisoners. Others complain there should be a platoon of them.

  24. Trudeau just spoke from Winnipeg and was apologizing again, taking questions and trying to act like he has now matured. It was a great act. He’s fought back crocodile tears. He had a forced sorrow. It was for himself.

He now has a peanut gallery. A few applauded his every statement.

He should find a new line of work, like regional theatre, even Broadway.

  25. Brown face, black face, red face …

The many faces of the Liberal Party.

Betcha JWR is having a laff somewhere this evening.
