Nobody listened to me at the time, but Busfield should have been arrested four decades ago for his participation in that horrible “thirtysomething” show.
I believe that show was finally cancelled for being just too annoying to watch … with no redeeming likeable value of ANY character in the show. I remember wanting to see each of the characters contract terminal cancer.

I agree. I’ve been thinking of leaving, for many of the reasons mentioned…growing authoritarianism, Fed gov’t disrespect of ordinary, good, law-biding citizens; multi-tier justice; crippling taxes, especially the ones based on myth – the carbon taxes; our society bowing down to 3rd world cultures and mentally unstable sub-cultures; and so on. There are just a couple things keeping me from leaving right now (I won’t get into that).
I’m 67, served in the CF 23 years. This is no longer the country I was proud to serve. I’m glad I have the resources to move, I just hope I can get out before the Gov’t seizes or freezes those.

A good movie, “Damn the Defiant”, saw it as a boy. I believe it had less successful sequels, “Darn the Compliant” and “Begrudge the Obsequious”.
Many people falsely assume that “Damn the Defiant” was a sequel to “Jude the Obscure”. Just joking, Hardy-har-har!
