Telegraph- North Sea ‘has three times more oil and gas’ than Government claims
Wood Mackenzie, which monitors oil and gas fields around the world and is renowned as a global leader in energy data, estimated that there could be up to 14 billion barrels worth of recoverable oil and gas in existing North Sea fields.
But, the UK is cutting their own throat by stacking massive taxes on what is recovered as well taking a hardline “no new drilling” position. Companies like Chevron and other major energy companies are pulling out of the area as a result despite the new potential.
Ed Miliband is a complete idiot of zealot proportions. Some of the nicknames he’s been afforded are “Red Ed,” and “Emissary from the Planet F*ck”. The latter from the Blair Administration. Miliband and Carney are of the same cloth.
