    The ASHA post simply demonstrates that in the current political climate ANYTHING can be blamed on the weather; and this is NOT science, its VooDoo. I’m going to go to my office now and stick pins in a doll that emulates the Polar Vortex.

  2. And here I thought 40 years of running heavy equipment and shooting guns caused my hearing loss. It was climate change all along.

  3. I have preserved my hearing and lungs through 30 years of construction and now I’m going to require hearing aids due to climate change! What good did all of that care and attention do for me. I’m totally ticked off I tell you. Next it’s going to be climate induced COPD. Should have gotten the jab to stay safe. I’m sure it protects against climate induced illness as well.

  4. Oh it’s true. With the climate and other inanity going on, we’ve been investing in defensive options, and training on them. The climate change scam has definitely contributed to my hearing loss.

  5. I can hear just fine. But when someone says something about climate change to me which is invariably idiotic my reaction is always “Excuse me, what?” which just makes it seem like in can’t hear properly.

The authors of the paper, like many thousands of other “researchers” in virtually every field have sunk to pavlovian dog response when confronted with the desire for funding over starvation or a change in occupation. “Climate change” is the new magic word. The state rewards those who obey. The “crisis” requires sacrifice and the state offers salvation.

  7. over all of Canada , climate change has affected the reserves the most. all the fires start along the roads leading to the reserves. and the churches are similarly affected .

  8. My apologies to Rush, ZZ Top, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, King Crimson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Joel and Elton John and the hundreds of other bands and artists I have blamed for my hearing loss.

      l also blame 15 years in a mainframe computer environment with the printers, cared readers, and especially 10 ton A/C units clacking and thundering away.
      (trade off is l own a $400,000 house)

  10. I simply assume these days that any forest fire has been set by an arsonist. I rarely seem to be wrong.

  11. It does seem to affect their brains, AGW that is.
    The effect on them is so severe that they can’t think clearly, hence their inability to get real.
