      1. Should have happened long time ago. Ukrainians held on to it, too long, and yes, they inflicted massive casualties on Siberians. It is not clear what happened at the crucial moment of withdrawal of two brigades in good order only to throw them back in a day later. This moves seems to have resulted in higher than necessary Ukrainian loses… and Kremlin parrots mindlessly regurgitating the “battalion per day” story as if it was happening daily. In the end even those two brigades managed to withdraw in fighting order although their capability was unnecessarily degraded. It seems that Ukrainian political leadership did not listen to boots on the ground. Predictably pyrrhic victory either way.

        Also, it is interesting what pro russian critics are saying, the whole Girkin camps is up in arms about russians again fighting on Ukrainian terms.

      1. Very interesting. They may be on to something. Every time I have read one of Putin’s speeches, he seems very reasonable and quite astute about the the downward spiral of Western governments.

  9. So over the past week when I search “smalldeadanimals” on google, the result that point to the website is in Chinese. Everything else related to the search, wikipedia etc, is in English.

    Google trying to hide this site?
