    1. Like Kenney, too little, too slow, too late. And, he will never be forgiven for his antics over the convoy funding.

      1. Agreed.
Backing down because of unbearable pressure is not a reason to vote for anyone.
I think Sloan has started a provincial party…although when he moved to AB in the hopes of greener pastures there, and left his wife to run here, it’s looking like he’s more of an opportunist than a principled man.

          1. Nah, I just don’t trust him as much as I did before, but I must admit that I do like his policy positions.
I’m not loyal to a given party, I’m all about policy. If PPs policies are more to my liking, I may even vote for him, but he’d have to purge the CPC a fair bit first.
If his policies turn out to be just a bunch of vague platitudes, instead of concrete commitments, well then, Max it is.
One thing I will never, ever do again is hold my nose and vote against my conscience.

          2. “I’m not loyal to a given party, I’m all about policy.”
ROTFLMAO You could not be more in denial if you were sailing form Cairo to Alexandria.

    2. We just keep winning. Now we need everyone’s help with BC. Bonnie Henry’s doubling down on stupid and just won’t give up her grip on power.

    3. Then why did Ford have a judge freeze the money collected by GiveSendGo?

The freedom convoy needs that money and those of us who donated are being cheated.

        1. Now that is classic golden trash! It’s been named as one of the 50 worst movies ever made and it has earned that–ahem–“distinction”. It shows up on TCM from time to time and it’s hilariously bad. (Bet you can’t watch it without laughing!)

I mean, who can resist a movie with an opening theme like this:

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Izr3Cidaz1M

          1. When I was a kid, a US channel used to have “Creature Feature” and “HiFi SciFi” movies on Saturdays. Those old 50s SF movies were great. I especially liked the one where the Martians had claws that would inject the teens with alcohol, so the local sheriff wouldn’t believe their reports because they were hammered.
            Good times!

          2. YW:

For much of my time in Grade 7 – Grade 10, there was a classroom shortage in Fort St. John for my age group. As a result, students went to school in shifts. I went to school at 8 AM and was finished by about 12:30.

That meant that I was often back home in time for the start of the weekday afternoon movie shown on the sole TV channel we received in town in those days. I saw a lot of B-grade SF movies, many meant for the drive-in market, during those years.

            Yeah, good times!

          3. Colonista:

Oh, that I have to watch! Another movie on my round tuit list. Clint Walker? Robert Urich? Neville Brand? Sure, why not?

          4. Colonialista:

Sorry about the mis-spelling of your handle. Serves me right for posting while watching a movie on TCM (Silver Streak).

    1. A friend uses a couple of WW2 expressions acquired from his father from “The Bishop and the Actress” jokes

One is “Fcuk me gently Bentley”, the second “Stuff me roughly”, depending on the degree of amazement

I’d guess that would rate the second exclamation

  1. Earlier in the evening, I started watching A Handful of Dust:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xExB3GegSo

but I quit after 45 minutes. It was another British upper-class-twit-with-a-philandering-wife flick and I found it painfully boring.

    Instead, I watched Town Tamer:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5txPjHKm5SI

It’s a predictable horse opera with the usual share of goodies and baddies. It stars Dana Andrews, as well as a lot of well-known Hollywood actors from an earlier era. In addition, a future Enterprise physician is in it. Deforest Kelley made a lot of movies like that before he was recruited by Starfleet.

It’s entertaining enough, but don’t expect anything like Rio Bravo or The Searchers.

  2. Canada you are winning even downunder.

Australia to officially treat Covid like the FLU: What it means for EVERY Aussie as the country enters the final phase of the National Covid Plan
Scott Morrison has announced that states and territories can enter stage D
This stage is the final stage to living with Covid and treats the virus like flu
International borders will re-open on February 21 but vaccinations needed ??????????
Just block a few more roads.

  3. Hoo boy, does Tucker Carlson rake Prinz Dummkopf over the coals!

According to that report, Biden is working with HRH to find an alternate route around the bridge at Windsor, with Pete Buttgag in charge of the efforts. Yeah, that’ll fix the problem, won’t it?

    1. Hannity has had a few choice words about our Turd as well.
Fox News reporters have been at the protests, interviewing people, and for some odd reason, they were treated well, unlike the CBC reporter gloating about CAS getting involved.
That CBC reporter should have been pepper-sprayed.

    1. I believe I posted the YouTube URL to Dark Star at one time, but it looks like it’s been taken down.

John Carpenter made the movie as a film school student project. It’s hilariously bizarre.

  4. “They want to put y’all back in chains!”

The illegal drug industry is plagued with racial inequality at a level that cannot be tolerated in a modern society. President Crack Pipe has addressed this by ensuring crack pipes are available to addicts and drug abusers of all races. Can you say “Obamaphone?” Can the DialARock app be far behind? (10% for the Big Guy.)

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/mostly-false-free-crack-pipes-how-fact-checkers-debunked-reality-again.

    1. Instead of a ” Chicken in Every Pot ” It’s now a ” Crackpipe in Every Mouth “.

      Let the Sin, Begin.

  5. Bitch B Gone.
Carpetbagger Liz Cheney sneaks back into Wyoming to mingle with the press, while pronouncing everyone who voted for her “crazy”. Is it any wonder the Wyoming Republican Party voted to censure her?

  6. I’ll believe Fat Bastard is pulling the Karen “OMG I’m VAXXed” pass when he does it. Until then, he’s still a sad fat fuck whose party needs to be wiped out in the upcoming elections.

  7. From the Daily Digest comes this moronic title (that is why I won’t post the link).

“From Marie Curie to Barack Obama – the most controversial Nobel Prize winners”.

If they are going to include Barack Obama and Marie Curie in the same sentence then I won’t click through. Sorry Marie but you must be really stupid to deserve such a fate.
