Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Jaime Oliver should blame all that ‘white chef’ clothing…it’s rotted his brain.
Confidentially, his food sucks too.
Couldn’t stomach some of the food recipes he was cooking in Britain, they were pretty disgusting.
Ops, sorry to burst his inflated ego bubble.
About Mark Dolan’s op-ed, this makes him a vaccinated antivaxxer. Here is Merriam-Webster’s definition:
Definition of anti-vaxxer
: a person who opposes the use of vaccines or regulations mandating vaccination
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/anti-vaxxer
My definition is, one who recognized a fraud when he sees it.
+1 Agreed OWG,
I have had more vaccines than most people I personally know from living and working a lifetime in Third World shitholes around the globe – I just won’t take this experimental non-debated crap being unethically and at times illegally pushed by known LIARS and CHEATS.
Otherwise I’m not “Anti-Vax” in anyway shape or form, but I am always Anti-Totalitarian!
a) “It has been decided that Newspeak is too unrestricted, and therefore further immediate vocabulary reductions are imperative.”
b) The old “It’s because I’m…..” strikes again, (or rather, continues to strike).
@Woke Scotland & Europe
Having worked for several decades around the world with many different races and cultures I had always found “the Scots” to be the most abrasive snivelling backstabbing twats of the bunch. In fairness there were a few that were ‘alright’, but as a whole the very last people I’d work with again if given a choice. A not so close second were Brits for slightly different reasons.
A big surprise for me as a western Canadian was working with French for several years in North Africa. These of course were working class French mostly coming from rural French area’s. I was genuinely surprised with their work ethic and down to earth personalities that were void of the sneering backstabbing attitudes of the UK.
I’ve never – not once – used the term “spirit animal” in conversation because it was a nonsensical term. I don’t culturally appropriate Indian words or concepts because I couldn’t care less for them; they are irrelevant to me.
The self-proclaimed elites can FOAD on the rest, though.
