  1. Yup, watched this a little earlier. Amazing how the police simply cannot apologize.

Also amazing he didn’t ask the police for their names and badge numbers. Maybe those rules are different down under?

    1. Amazing how the police simply cannot apologize.

Blame the lawyers. An apology would imply admission of liability, which would make them vulnerable to civil litigation.

  2. This was an unofficial win for Rebel News. Avi didn’t get an an apology from the cop. But the gig is over.

  3. He’s very good. I am impressed that Rebel has a reporter in Oz. So much bigger audience than the Western Reporter had.. Ezra is a smart guy.

    1. Ezra is very smart, and a true champion of democracy. No wonder politicos and bureaucrats are so hostile.

      1. Linda – And a champion of free speech. That’s what the left hates about him.

  4. What is frightening about these days is that the government, cops, and judges decide which laws will be enforced and which ones will be ignored. For example arresting Christian pastors in direct violation of the criminal code of canuckistan section 176. In this case, another frightening thing is having the cops decide who is accredited media. Police state.

    1. For another example declaring Proud Boys a terrorist organization while tacitly approving off Antifa and BLM actual terrorism.

    2. But … “Health Emergency!” … your government betters are simply SAVING you. Like they’re trying to “save you” from Global Warming. Right?

    3. The RCMP run the gun registry. Not only do they just provide input but Nazi apparatchiks actually decide who owns guns. Why don’t we just let the RCMP decide everything.

    1. Consider that borrowed!

Put another way – “Civilization is only skin deep”

    2. +++ I have been of the opinion that society has been quite insane long before the whu who flu.

    1. Just like in Morontario they can stop you and give you an alcohol check, and again, and again behind every corner. Thanks MAAD Karens.

    1. V10, it is long past time that they were reminded of who they work for and it ain’t politicians.

    2. I have totally lost all respect for the police – anywhere in the world. Not to be trusted, they are the Gestapo of Western countries.

  5. I think it’s time to nominate Ezra for the Order of Canada and watch leftist heads explode.

  6. Hey enema69, remind us how the cops are the good guys. Don’t be shy, do go on.

  7. Jeepers! Accosted outside by cops in masks! They make it very hard to support the police here in Bizarro World where they treat citizens like criminals and criminals like victims and happily enforce nonsensical rules with no sense of shame or irony.

  8. Shrug. By vote count, 98% of Canada’s population supports the suppression of their liberties.

    1. I just re-entered Canada yesterday and although I provided a negative COVID test, I am in my 14 days of quarantine. I can’t even go for a walk around the block at 2 in the morning under the penalty of up to a million dollar fine and three years in prison. The CBSA agents assured me of that and hid behind, “We don’t make the rules.”

  9. The aliens have invaded. The Vogons are walking around in plain sight and they’re all wearing uniforms. Too bad it isn’t as funny as it should be.

  10. I thought Australia had beaten Covid and everyone was back to normal. Or so the Winnipeg Free Press said a couple of weeks ago.

  11. When South Park first began broadcast,I could see “Cartman” everywhere.
    I still do.
“Never frighten a cornered man”,but what do we do when they wear a uniform, have state protection for their violence and are cornered by their own fear and inadequacy?
And our elected idiots, decree it to be “Hate Crime” to ask these minions to reflect..

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.
