    1. I don’t care how pathetic these 2 Repub senate candidates are, we’re not surrendering the senate to the radical left. The strategy going forward is to purge the GOP of squishes in the primaries via an America First/Trump platform of policies.

      1. Pls explain to Canadian readers why a Republican Governor and a Republican controlled legislature refuses to hold a special session to hear the evidence of election fraud in Georgia. The obstruction and obfuscation coming from the Governor, Secretary of State and minions is another issue.

        1. They still are listening to the CNN propaganda coolaid and think President Trump is gone.
Also, more than likely, their is evidence of them doing illegal shit too.
President Trump will be cleaning house and they are more than likely dirty too.
With this full blown media propaganda, they are very convincing.

          1. Bunch of cucks letting the election be stolen by some big-bottied BLM supporting hood rats pulling off “the finesse of the century”.

        2. The Repubds and Dementocrats are variants of the Uniparty that has become established. Neither side wants to upend the gravy train and stand together to prevent that. It’s the same here in Canada. Harlem Globertrotters versus Washington Generals, same policies, same game.

        3. They may be threatened, or they may not want to rock the boat. The upshot is, I think challenges will need to be heard by the Supreme Court.

    1. Prof. Attaran, according to Elections Canada records, contributes heavily to the federal NDP and Liberal parties.

  1. Pretty girl who can sing and also rides a horse. It don’t get no better than that.
I dare you to watch that once only.

    1. I have never worried about having friends. Having sane people around to converse with is adequate.

  2. The sound of settled science
We’re all alone: Oxford study says chance of intelligent life elsewhere (in the whole universe) very low

I thought it would be decades from now before someone came to this conclusion using statistical models.

“Just because we got our results doesn’t mean it is a waste of time to look at the actual universe,” he said. “Data will always trump ever so careful reasoning and statistics.”

  3. About 150 US Cadillac dealers to exit brand, rather than sell electric cars

GM recently gave Cadillac dealers a choice: Accept a buyout offer to exit from the brand or spend roughly $200,000 on dealership upgrades—including charging stations and repair tools—to get their stores ready to sell electric vehicles…
About 17% of Cadillac’s 880 U.S. dealerships agreed to take the offer to end their franchise agreements for the luxury brand,

    1. Even the formerly flaccid Brits have ad enough.
Canadians still on their knees, not a testicle nor a clue in the country.

    1. Juan Perón, not dead enough.
Black Prince will not do that. He serves the Laurenitan elites. He will instead rob the middle class.

      1. Well his Father PET put a one time 10 cents a liter tax on fuel to pay for PetroCan. We are still paying it, how long ago was PetroTrash sold off?

        1. Watcher, That petro deal put about 56 million dollars in his families coffers. One hell of a lot of money then and now, well, what’s a billion.

    2. Jagmeet Singh is trying to get Trudeau to institute a wealth tax for those in Canada with total assets (in Canada and outside Canada) of $20 million.

Set at $20 million, I suspect most Canadians will support it, or be ambivalent towards it.

But once instituted, governments will find it easy to change the limit at which it applies.

Also look for Trudeau to implement an inheritance tax if he is re-elected with a majority.

      1. Also look for Trudeau to implement an inheritance tax if he is re-elected with a majority.

Don’t be surprised if he’ll make sure it’s applied retroactively. Inherit something in the past? Pay through the nose for it, as if the probate fee and estate income tax isn’t enough.

By the time I was finished paying all the necessary fees, charges, and taxes on my father’s estate, I lost roughly 10% of my inheritance.

It wasn’t enough that my parents worked hard to build it up and had to pay their share of expenses for it over the years that they were alive. Why not? Tax it twice–that’ll show those deplorables who’s boss, right?

        1. I hear you, B A. I am currently executing my mother’s estate and had to cut a hefty cheque for probate, $15 per $1,000 estate value. WTF?!

As you said, our parents worked hard to build it up and paid their share of expenses over the years and they still get pooched after they’re gone.

          1. In B. C., I recall that it’s a flat fee for estates worth up to $50,000. After that, it was $14/$1000 of worth. I could have made a nice down payment on a brand new pickup truck with what I paid. Fortunately, I was able to borrow money on my bank line of credit.

I ended up paying 2 premiers for that. The first was the probate fee which went to Christy Clark’s mob. Over a year later, the income tax was due and Johnandrew Horganweaver got their cut.

      2. Joe – Re “Also look for Trudeau to implement an inheritance tax ” But that would directly impact him since his fortune until now was all from his family. Board memberships and deals like We, SNC and Aga Khan will keep him going forward.

Re: “if he is re-elected with a majority – Use a trigger warning next time… some SDA readers are older and such statements could trigger PTSD or a heart attack.

        1. PHP2: The money Justin inherited is in a trust fund from which he receives dividends. Whether he would be impacted by a wealth tax would depend on whether the trust fund is subject to the wealth tax.

          1. Thinking that Justin gives a damn about what the laurentian elite think is a mistake. In my opinion Justin is driven by two issues: climate change and wealth redistribution. Likewise Justin’s good friend Gerry Butts.

If re-elected with a majority, Justin won’t need the Laurention elite. The so called elite will find themselves on the outside looking at the Greens, NDP, and Liberal insiders who all want to take what the Laurentian elite have.

University professors, trade union leaders, government officials, and woke greens who support Trudeau think they will be the new elite.

Justin will turn on the Laurentian elite once he feels his new base is secure.

          2. I guarantee the floor will always be above the value of the Trudeau foundation. Either that or there will be a specific foundation exemption (thereby driving all wealth into bs foundations).

  4. There are so many great black Republican political commentators out there, fighting the good fight. I have been following these two for many months now as they offer a great perspective, are usually informative and their ‘terminally cheerful’ demeanor rarely fails to plaster a big smile on my face.

    Factchecking the bullshit factcheckers.

  5. I hope everyone watched our Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau give a virtual message at the virtual Santa Claus parade yesterday. He is so cool and wonderful.

Also there was no chain of custody.

Also BLM supporters hired with Zuckerberg’s $400 million were doing the counting
in Detroit, Milwaukee, Pennsylvania and Atlanta.

It’s not who votes that counts. It’s who counts the votes that counts!

  7. Slightly off topic but I’d like to bring up covid and segue into supply chains. I started following the Wuhan story in January. At the time, there was quite a few YouTube videos on pandemic preparedness. This is due to the fact that in 2018, the hundredth anniversary of 1918, there was an effort to look back for “lessons learned”. The videos came in many formats: lectures, interviews, panel discussions. Many of the participants were academics who consulted with the federal government post 9/11 regarding biological threats. The USA has millions of soft targets. They were engaged in identifying weaknesses, making recommendations, as well as, establishing contingencies and designing procedures for potential catastrophes, what ever the source. At that time, they recognized how vulnerable the long international supply chains were and are, and how subject they are to political manipulation. They knew in the early ought’s that PPE and pharmaceuticals were especially vulnerable in today’s JIT (just in time) environment. I’m not against JIT, used it myself, but I would think twice about relying on it for critical products. Both Obama and Trump were blamed for the PPE shortage, but I blame the Bureaucracy. If you thought that bureaucrats are spending their time looking out for the USA or working up contingencies, think again. Even something on the other side of the world, like Fukashima or a tsunami can reach far and wide.

    1. FWIW: Many of the experts, discussing 1918, indicated that …….. under most circumstances ……. masks are useless. I’m just saying. I’m not against masks, I wear mine as a courtesy to others, I just don’t fetishize them.

      1. This Boohoo Flu has a very weak death rate as dangerous viruses are concerned.
It is more mainstream media and government hypocrisy that makes it look so deadly for everyone and we NEED a cure right away to bring society back to normal.
And that WILL NOT happen as we just added more laws and restrictions on top of the current economic choking ones as well.

        1. The whole approach to the death rates is completely bogus.

We know that many of the fatalities were elderly and they had other ailments when they contracted the flu. It’s hard to tell what killed them.

I know that for a fact from my own experience. My father died in his early 80s and, according to the medical examiner, there were a number of things wrong with him, some of which I knew about, such as his long-term diabetes. Any combination of those could have weakened his metabolism to the point that it wouldn’t have taken much for him to keel over.

Because of that, the medical examiner used his best judgement when he made his assessment of the cause of death. He offered to conduct an autopsy, but I declined. Even if he had, autopsies are often inconclusive.

That’s one reasons why forensic medical evidence is often called into question in court cases. The degree of uncertainty can, at times, leave room for reasonable and legitimate doubt.

This uncertainty seems to be disregarded with respect to the virus death rates. Clearly, that’s being done for political purposes.

    2. The possibility of wide spread damage to the Grid or a Carrington event, in relation to the international supply chain, is concerning. How many commercial transformers are in reserve and how many are in the United States. Yes, transformers are manufactured by several multinationals but I don’t know where they are made, if GE manufactures in the USA, or if Siemens manufactures in Germany, how dependent they are on subassemblies, parts, and raw materials. What if, like PPE, the international community was dependent on China. Plan accordingly. This is the downside of JIT.

      1. “They found that PG&E had collected $224 million more than it was authorized to collect in oil and gas revenue in the decade before the explosion. At the same time, it spent millions less than it was supposed to on maintenance and generally fell short of industry safety standards.”

  8. Real science is one area totally lacking and this is why our society will fail as eventually the lies can no longer support a collapse as our products fail.
We have areas of science that would show our materials currently being used will fail and some more quickly than others.
Hint: Expansion and Contraction by our Nitrogen gas rich atmosphere NEVER included as any research.

  9. Turdeau is looking for a plank to hang his Party fortunes on come spring election. I suspect a wealth tax on net worth whether $5 or $10 or $20 million. It makes little dif as once established it will be brought down on a steady basis. This is a time honored process that has been used by socialists for decades. Confiscate and redistribute. People will vote “Yes” for this in droves. The Liebels will get a majority government out of the promise. The Dippers will promise even more in a desperate attempt to stay relevant. It won’t work. The CPC will not know how to compete. Fiscal conservativism won’t sell as they have done an abysmal job of communicating their philosophy for decades.

IMHO Wexit gains from this process. Wexit should be far more advanced except for the poor job Kenney is doing. Whatever political capital he had going into government is being pissed away.

  10. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/topstories/vancouver-canucks-anthem-singer-is-let-go-for-standing-up-against-covid-rules/ar-BB1bFiHT?ocid=msedgdhp

The Vancouver Losers Forever Canucks have fired their anthem singer because he sang at a Covid lockdown protest.

“Sports figures, entertainers, politicians, et cetera, can stand for anything as long as it supports the narrative. You can support rioting, looting, destructions of livelihoods and reputation, but take a position against the narrative and you are worthy of exile or worse.”

    1. Kinda laughable as Mark Donnelly hasn’t sang for the Canucks in years. Even during his heyday he regular missed nights due to his real job of singing opera. Whatever money he ever made was likely minimal and I suspect donated for good causes.
