  1. We had one. He was kicked from the party by the Dairy Queen.
Too many backroom Laurentian Imperialists in all of the parties.

    1. DM, couldn’t agree more. At least in Alberta, it appears there is another option on the near horizon.

      1. I am hoping that Michelle Rempel will remember her roots and Manitoba does not get left out. As I keep reminding people, we have a port just as close to Europe as any Easterners, and it would only take a few months of the transfer payments to provide the ice breakers needed to keep it open.

    2. “We had one. He was kicked from the party by the Dairy Queen.”

And just who would that be, eh? Come on, tell it or are you afraid to have your lie exposed, yet again?

      1. Okay Oz, it was Max.
I am not arguing to support Max here on everything he has done, but he did have strength and courage similar to Priti. That covers the first point of my claim that we had one.

As to the second point, he was kicked out of the party by the Dairy Queen. Even current MPs while campaigning acknowledged that Harper managed things just fine with Max in the party, and that part of leadership is managing the team you have around you and working with their strengths and around their weaknesses. They also acknowledged that there was something fishy about how Dairy Queen won, and clearly dirty politics in the backroom. Dairy Queen failed because he is not a leader, and is thoroughly Ottawashed, part of the Laurentian Imperial Establishment (LIE) trying to take control of any opposition to their reign of error.

        1. Maxime Bernier isn’t like Priti Patel.
Maxime Bernier is exactly the type of bureaucratic bumbler who doesn’t take his job or oaths of office seriously that would be a TARGET of investigation by Priti Patel.
The SOB was Foreign Minister, took his briefcase from his office, and left his briefcase at his girl friend’s house(or so he claimed) when Canada was at war in Afghanistan!

And why, oh why do you keep parroting the lie that Bernier was kicked out of the party when the SOB resigned?
Don’t you Max! cultists have any shame or honor? Stop reopening the wound and let it heal.

          1. “I am not arguing to support Max here on everything he has done, but he did have strength and courage similar to Priti.”

Or is reading comprehension not your strong suit? Max was the only one willing to talk about the important issues. His habit of banging biker chicks does not alter that fact (though it would probably make him more popular in Quebec if widely disseminated).

Not a cultist, just sick of everything getting co-opted, Reform got watered down to form the Alliance, then that got watered down to absorb the last of the Laurentian Mulroneyite bitter clingers of the old PC to form the CPC, which rising to the level of mediocrity under Harper was still the best government Canada has had in the last 50 years. The Dairy Queen was a popular choice for Speaker among the left because he could be counted on to surrender to them, and now it looks like the system has been rigged to anoint Peter Mackay, the last of the Mulroneyite bitter clingers.

For the record, I voted for my local CPC candidate because it was essential to remove the local Librano/Dipper trough hog. That vote was in no way a matter of support for the Dairy Queen.

As for his resigning, in the private sector it would be called constructive discharge.

          2. “His habit of banging biker chicks”

It wasn’t about who he was rogering:
Canada was at WAR, Bernier was Foreign Minister and left documents related to his ministry unsecured.
That is fundamentally UNSERIOUS about working in an important Executive portfolio. WTF is wrong with you?

“Max was the only one willing to talk about the important issues.”

Not a cultist? Then why do you keep parroting the debunked talking points of the Max! cult?

Don’t listen to talk. Watch what people DO. Bernier had to resign as Foreign Minister because he did not keep documents related to his duties as a Minister secured. He failed to win the Leadership race and then instead of joining the Libertarian party where the things Bernier said are party policy he creates a One-Man party, dictates the policy like a Cult leader, and chases the conservative constituency.

“For the record, I voted for my local CPC candidate because it was essential to remove the local Librano/Dipper trough hog.”

            Kudos to you.
But for the record, it doesn’t mitigate the damage done by parroting the Max! talking point lies slagging the CPC during the run up to the election which made voters turn away or stay home. Oh and you’re still doing it.
Dairy Queen my ass. You do know that’s one of the Max! cult talking points right? Eh?

          3. “The SOB was Foreign Minister, took his briefcase from his office, and left his briefcase at his girl friend’s house”

            – and his GF was an ex Hells Angels hand-around, lest it be forgotten.

          4. “– and his GF was an ex Hells Angels hand-around, lest it be forgotten.” ~Y. Knott

I did not know that. I didn’t care about the sex aspect, until now. Hells Angels are International Organized Crime.
They OWN the women they’re associated with. Boffing an Organized Crime Honey Pot is a Big Deal.
A Minister of the Crown should not be associated with International Organized Crime. Jeesh!

” His habit of banging biker chicks” ~Deplorable me, Max! cult mouthpiece

WOW! Way to minimize an issue of importance. That’s called SOPHISTRY in case you don’t know. It’s a form of lying.
You really have those Max! cult talking points down pat. Have you ever considered entering deprogramming?

          5. It was Harper’s stupid decision to demote him from Industry, where he was leading a quiet revolution, to Foreign, which he had no reason to be in. That being said last election campaign demonstrated that he was not good.

          6. ” where he was leading a quiet revolution”

The Doofus had no character or qualification to be a Minister at all.
Bernier was in a Heritage riding which his father(an honorable man) had held earlier as a PC, name recognition gave Bernier an electoral advantage(almost incumbency), the constituency was conservative friendly(they dumped the One Man Party Wonder and elected a CPC MP), and the new CPC party(started in western Canada) needed to reward Quebec with Ministerial appointments to look good to the Froggies in general.
It was a safe riding for a front line conservative Minister to have. Maxime screwed the pooch and the rest is history.

Pray tell, what was Bernier revolting against quietly or otherwise? And do you think this revolting, without justification, is conservative behavior?

  2. Canadians are such cowards. Where are the legions of Western farmers and Queen’s Subjects conducting an armed blockade of the Trans Canada Highway? They are at home whining through their keyboards as usual like good Canadian socialist weaklings always do. If this happened in the USA, the armed citizenry would revolt and have the force of lead and gunpowder behind it. This is the difference between a Representative Republic armed to the teeth with Sovereign Citizens versus a Constitutional Monarchy (led of course by a congenitally retarded foreign Monarch) populated by lazy Commoner de-fanged disarmed toothless socialist whiners.

    1. Such actions rarely occur spontaneously. They need to be organized and co-ordinated and, so far, no such leader has emerged.

    2. As much as we fulminate over why there is not an uprising I often refer to this quote to understand why this has not transpired

“ Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

Until the tormentors run out of other people’s money, you can expect those disposed to suffer will be reluctant to act.

    3. We don’t have time for these while trying to just make ends meet. When we do, in rare circumstances, we’re portrayed as the bad guys.
Only the welfare parasites have the time and means to attend to protests, etc. The media adores parasites.

    4. ” the armed citizenry would revolt and have the force of lead and gunpowder behind it”

      LOL no they wouldn’t.

      1. As you know NMEmactoon is just another SDA resident Troll. No arguments just daily crap on posters. At least UnMe has some value in spring-boarding off leftist uninformed drivel. The NME troll is just sad.

      1. “Never seems to have anything but an insult.”

        Only for you, Kevin dear.
Lets take this retarded piece of dubious wisdom right here:

“FYI, if you actually want change, never again support an incumbent.”

That there is just stupid. Why/how is it stupid?
        a) Most qualified people do not want to run for office. If you do elect someone who is qualified they’re like gold. Keep them.
        b) You’re going to give them a pension after one term? No? Then how do you expect to get any quality applicants for the job?
        c) If government and parties keep turning over again and again, the changes in policy create an unstable economic atmosphere in the state that is unattractive for investors

I could go on, but suffice it to say you read like you just throw stuff up against the wall to what sticks and none of it seems to be thought out. So yes I insult you, Kevin, a lot. Stupid should hurt.

Just last week you wrote that you were worried about Trudeaus “spawn” becoming Prime Minister of Canada, yet Colonialista(sp?) had to remind you that getting Trudeau reelected was one of YOUR oft voice goals last October because it was supposed to bring about Alberta independence. So why should you care, right?
Tsk, Tsk, lack of integrity and consistency there, Kevin dear.

  3. well. lOOks like the Brits got themselves another Iron Lady.
    good.
    where’s ours?
we have wooden puppets, where’s the tough stuff?

I truly never realized how gawdawful STOOOOpid Cdn voters ARE until that
parade of LIEberals showed up starting with TURDoo 1.0.
and still didnt realize how bad things were until now.

    1. In fairness to Canadian voters, Trudeau 1.0 lost every time in English Canada, it was the monopoly on Quebec that put and kept him in power. This is part of why Trudope has changed the citizenship process to speed things up and get more people eligible to vote before they have even experienced an election. I was born here and had to wait 18 years to be eligible to vote. I think expecting someone to be here long enough to observe an election before voting is being very reasonable.

      1. Now you come back to the Catch 22, the crux, the rub; you make a rule that sounds like a good idea at the time.

Once the reasonable people you voted for are defeated, and your enemies get hold of the levers of power, your well crafted reasonable rule(s), becomes a baseball bat with rusty nails in it, that they proceed to beat you with.

        1. You cannot guarantee that only reasonable, rational people will be elected/hired/appointed. The only true power you have, is limits.

Fewer rules. Fewer bureaus, fewer bureaucrats, fewer powers, … ANYTHING you give to yourself, will eventually be perverted by an irrational zealot to serve a different end.

      2. Trudeau 1.0 lost every time in English Canada

Uh, no. Southern Ontario tended to vote for him, which was why the 1980 election was all but over by the time the polls closed in B. C.

        1. 1980 election was 147 / 103 / 32
          Quebec voted 74 / 1 / 0
Over half the Liberal seats were from Quebec.
Take Quebec out of the picture and you get 73 / 102 / 32

This despite the conservatives trying to run on the record of Joke Lark. Ontario was 52 / 38 / 5

It was always that near monopoly on French voters that carried Trudeau 1.0. And I suspect some of the maritime and Ontario seats might have seen different results without the French vote.

  4. I didn’t realize how racist and misogynistic the British civil service is. If they can’t handle working for a strong woman of colour then some reeducation might be in order. Or just downsizing.

  5. As someone who was actually kicked out of the Public Service Alliance of Canada for challenging a component president and complaining about where my money was going without giving me a choice, let me assure you that this is true. Public sector unions and teacher unions should be abolished.
Oddly, while banishing me, they continued to take my money and there was nothing I could do about it.

    1. I experienced something similar while I was teaching.

It didn’t take long before my institution started deducting mandatory contributions to the retirement plan run by the provincial government, even though I had an investment portfolio of my own. I not only had no say in what happened, I wasn’t allowed to know how my money was being managed, let alone what it was invested in.

When I quit, I was given the option of transferring those funds to an investment firm of my choice, so I took them over to my broker at the time. He helped set me up in a self-directed retirement plan and I could decide what to buy or sell. However, there was a catch: it was a locked-in fund. I could only withdraw money from it once a year.

As it turned out, I took what I can contributed and, with time, made it worth much more under my management than it would have been had I left with the government.

  6. Patel is a Thatcherite in a government devoted to undoing Thatcher. She will probably get chucked like her fellow traveler Sajan. No surprise that Akkad is oblivious to the left-wing nature of BoJo’s government.
