State Of The Nation

The Dialogueing has begun.

Tensions were high at a protest in Regina on Saturday, when a vehicle pushed through a line of demonstrators blocking Albert St.

RCMP are investigating after a truck driver refused to stop for a group of protesters — allegedly hitting at least one of the demonstrators — while they blocked Highway 75 near Morris, Man., Monday, police say.

Counter protesters in Edmonton have all but hauled away the barricades on the CN tracks. (Video)

Andrew Coyne is all atwitter.

Hey, Quebecers — it’s your turn.

  1. Way to go, people! Not all is lost.
    Run them down!

But no matter what you decide to do, DO NOT SHOOT THEM!!! Do not mention, bring, or use firearms!!!
Shooting them will be used to disarm the entire Canada, just like in NZ.
I stand with Alberta! I stand with NZ!

  2. I dont care if McKay says “Alberta rules, Canada drools!” I still ain’t voting for him or any of the other liberals.

Having said that…Farg you Coyne! 🙂 Good to see at least some Albertans doing what needs to be done. May as well get the RCME out of Alberta and leave the policing to the citizens.

  3. If that truck driver in Manitoba gets charged I will personally contribute to his legal expenses. He is a hero!

    1. Plus one on this.
I sent $$ to Bruce Montague. I will send money to counter protesters. They cannot divide us.

  4. “Did a leading candidate for Conservative leader just endorse vigilantism as a response to railway barricades?” Notice how it’s only vigilantism when Conservatives do it?

  5. Law ENFORCEMENT officers, supposedly swear an oath to uphold the law,
insubordination is grounds for dismisal, so is lying about their oath.
We have $100,000/year RCMP (armed bellhops) assisting illegals with their luggage at the border in Quebec.
We have protesters threatening the livelyhood of citizens and with rail blockages, the lives of rail passengers.
This is NOT protesting, their right to protest ENDS at my right to free movement.
This is terrorism, threatening death and or destruction for political ends.

Our high priced Leo’s are showing their true colour, and its yellow… fire them all.
Then send in the military, demand surrender under penalty of death.
Oh, and remind the sock-monkey (Juthin Turdope) …WE DON”T NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS…

    1. My uncle Rick was RCMP. There was a story people told about him. He arrested some high mucky muck, elected or some such, dude name dropped, threatened, etc., etc.,. Apparently, uncle Rick simply said “My name in Richard ____, and I enforce the law.” and he put him in the cell, and locked the door.

  6. Run the train full bore through the blockade, preferably with Trudeau tied on the front with a homicide vest on him. If they come back the next day, do the same thing with Climate Barbie strapped on the front, and so on and so.

  7. Came across a “proud liberal” who said she knows that Conservatives are behind the blockades…..because Mohawks are involved.
Moronic, but i expect this will get popular – anything to take the heat off boy trudeau.

  8. Trudeau said at the outset (paraphrased here, as I cannot stomach looking up any of his drivel…)
“Nothing is more important to this government than our relationship with our First Nations Peoples..”
Well, he told a half truth for once. They obviously matter more than hard working, tax paying, economy growing regular Canadians.
And the presstitutes fall in line.

  9. It does my heart good to hear that someone anyone has stomped on these protesting assholes. A word of advice ” when the killer elite rcmp are around watch your backs”. As far as the presstitute asshole Coyne I’d like to know how he manages to take his lips off of turd jr.’s ass long enough to breath.

  10. Coyne didn’t read Mackay’s tweet – he was dissing Trudeau on the economy. Coyne wants to deflect and prevaricate because he knows MacKay was telling the truth on this one.

  11. These people are true rebels and revolutionaries. JT has done the impossible with his dithering and incompetence – he has actually pushed ordinary, law abiding Canadians to take direct action against the idle mongers who are trashing our country and behaving like spoiled babies until they get their way. I love it! Revolution now!

  12. Tell you what, pull up the Last Spike and Canada can DECONFEDERATE.

Then call it a day and start all over, because with leadership like the Prime Doofus the country is just overrun with lack of direction.

Toot, toot…a train is a coming!!!

Doesn’t it take a train 8km to come to a halt?

Only stupid people stand on railway tracks, as they have no regard for their own safety,
and still less for the rest of the country.

    Cheers

  13. Truck driver didn’t hit anyone, they got out of the way. The cops better not charge him with anything. Everywhere there is a blockade should have 50 citizens removing it and making citizens arrests on protesters and cops that get in the way. Cops that help keep these blockades are engaging in an illegal act and need to be dealt with.

  14. This stage was inevitable because of a complete failure of government responsibility. Whether they control police force or not- in theory they don’t but only the gullible and naive think they never do in practice – the buck stops at the political class. A vacuum in law and order that threatens the livelihood of citizens for an extended period of time will result in people filling the void to end the blockades.

The dark, cynical side of me thinks that this is the Liberals and activists game plan, the media was given script and have now all started their virtue signaling outrage lines on cue. They want a certain narrative and symbolic pictures.

Those “excuse me, coming through” blockade busting Albertan’s are the politest so-called vigilantes in recorded history so the chattering class look silly right now. But, things could get ugly. Not everyone is as calm and cool as those Alberta guys. The blood will be on the political classes hands if a failure of government to restore order leads to injuries or death.

    1. If the liberal progressive political class wants to show solidarity with the Canadians whose livelihoods are being ruined by the blockades then perhaps the liberal progressive MPs should voluntarily decline their own paychecks for the duration of the blockades. I’m sure that if those MPs had their own personal financial well being threatened, it would clarify their thinking and hasten the urgency to end the blockades. They’d certainly better understand the anxiety and frustration.

      1. If there was any justice or accountability, Justin would have his pension garnished for every idiotic theft that has cost us, this fiasco included.

But one simply cannot expected the gated class to give up their Netflix and artisanal breads.

  15. Coyne isn’t worth a red cent. If a truck ran over him the stain left behind would stink like asshole for a year.
Anyone know if a Tianamen tank driver is available? Kidding, but…
The further this shit gets away from the nutless politicians and cowardly cops, the greater the chance that there will be blood.

  16. Not sure where this is going but the mohawks are a bad bunch. If an armed confrontation is going to happen my guess is it will be with them. It’s hard to gauge how much skin the mohawks have in this game.

If the police are going to respond expect them to show up with maximum force. They can’t afford to not win. They will be all in. Could be ugly.

    1. “If the police are going to respond expect them to show up with maximum force.”

      NEVER going to happen.
They don’t see themselves as law (enforcement) officers anymore…
They are now goodwill ambassadors, negotiators, bellhops and ticket distributors.
Lets relieve them of their firearms, they obviously have no use for them.

  17. And the Mounties are protecting and coddling the criminals (AKA protesters). If the won’t do the job they were hired for they should resign, not go after fed up citizens.

    1. In Vancouver the VPD were the ones blocking traffic and clearing a path for the eco terrorists… One can assume that the VPD are in league with the terrorists. If not, then why are the police acting as the forward advance group for the terrorists ? Seems the VPD, like the corrupted eunuchs of the RCMP are aiding and abetting foreign funded radicals in a criminal act. Turdholeland is a lawless shithole.

  18. Are the unions standing up for the rail workers laid off as a result of the blockades?

Is pimped out Coyne defending anti -oil vigilantes?

  19. “Tensions were high at a protest in Regina on Saturday, when a vehicle pushed through a line of demonstrators blocking Albert St.”

I hope the vehicle wasn’t damaged.

  20. If Coyne was a journalist,he might consider interviewing The Fabulous Five.
    Canadians want to know.
Who are these amazing people, such characters.
Five individuals can bring the Federal Government to their knees..Oh right Liberals, but I digress.
These Five people are so Fabulous that our “National Media” and the elected “leadership” bow to their infinite wisdom.
Five so wise that their opinions are to override the Eight of their peers who disagree with them.
Yet they are so important that the Band, the band council and the Elected Chief are deemed to be subservient to them.
The $660 million dollar media are almost as useful as the Liberal Government.
Who are these Gods amongst mere mortals? That Can Ahh Duh closes down when they throw a temper tantrum?
And what is this “Democracy” of which our effete elites speak?

You have to admit the breech of contract is pretty damn obvious..”Good Government”,Rule of Law,civil society, freedom of trade and a whole bunch more empty words for which we have paid way too much.
Time we threw the speakers of these MT words out.
Why are we feeding such useless parasites?

  21. These “vigilantes” will be arrested and this will all be forgotten by the summer.

(Insert own “The Dark Knight”/”live long enough to see yourself become the villain” comment here)

  22. Edmonton

“We the people ” in action.

And I would not want to be standing in front of them if this bullspit keeps up….

  23. Funny how all this BS blockade stuff started right after a certain designer with deep pockets had a lot of exposure for doing what the so called elite do. This particular creep is well connected to all the creep network so I’m suspect a lot of money is pouring into protesters and presstitute pockets to keep the sheeple looking at the shiny object and not at what is going on behind the curtain. Our so called MSBSM will cover for the sick perverts, quickly load the satellite trucks and race to the scene to cover a few green haired Justy acolytes protesting something they no nothing about, like the know nothings they are, but they are important, and as usual the dolts of Toronto Coyne and Frum etal will puff up and weigh in on cue, with their helium like analysis, nothing to see here, look here, its Harrrrpers fault yea!

  24. “This is not the way to resolve this.” – Andrew Coyne

Obviously it is the way to resolve this when the idiots in the pimped media and the politicians and police support the criminals blocking the tracks and roads.

Coyne isn’t that stupid, he’s just doing his job as a media gigolo to support the Liberals by pretending to get the vapours when normal people act normally.

Maybe it’s time we blockaded the entrances to the CBC and other ho media offices.

  25. CN and CP both have their own private police forces. The various legislation gives them absolute jurisdiction within five hundred metres of any railway right-of-way. They may choose to cede this jursidication to local, provincial, or federal police agencies, but it is theirs within the Acts and Regulations, based on what I’ve read. They don’t need any court orders to arrest trespassers. I live and work in Calgary, and both my residence and my workplace are within their jurisdiction, technically.

If they aren’t enforcing their property rights, their corporate bosses (or Garneau, from whose ministry their legal authority devolves) are telling them not to. The RCMP aren’t really needed, except perhaps in terms of whether or not the rail police have their own ERTs. The companies themselves appear to be allowing the blockades to happen. I presume from wokeness in action, or a sensitivity to being called racists.

  26. Ordinary Canadians will have to starting more actions against this type of illegal insurrections if the federal government and their lackey police force continue to refuse to live up to their responsibilities.
