@TimRunsHisMouth — There’s so many car wrecks happening in rapid fire on #DemDebate that it’s literally impossible to live tweet. I’m just going to chant “Let them fight!”

I didn’t tune in until part way through the debate, but I suspect the acrimony might have begun with Klobuchar stealing Bloomberg’s box.

Bloomberg just threw the “c” word at Bernie to *gasps* from the audience. At this point, I swear he’s 50-50 on ditching the debate, announcing his support for Donald Trump and walking off the stage.

Har… and he just got Bernie to list his three houses.

Everyone on the stage promised to screw Bernie over if he wins the most delegates. Gonna be mean tweets tonight.

And now protestors interrupt Biden during closing statements.

But they’re “united” against Trump.

Amy throws a stapler.

Addendum: Pete Buttigieg’s answers bore a striking resemblance to those of Justin “Word Salad” Trudeau, but not quite as gay.

    Has Chief Walking Eagle looked at black employment numbers lately?

    While I agree with some of Chief Walking Eagle’s criticism of potential nominee “Bomb-berg”; so far the field of potential nominees are adeptly managing to “Nuke the Vote”.

  5. It is amazing and amusing that when anyone of them says something slightly sane the rest (including the moderators) immediately gangbang them for it. And since Bloomberg is arguably the least insane (and thus most electable) they all want him drawn and quartered. A spectacular shitshow. Time for some Macallan.

  7. Bloomberg’s response to non-disclosure agreements (NDA), which I assume were for business reasons, was bad on an epic scale.
    But very fitting for a Democrat: maybe they didn’t like me.

  9. Bloomberg promised to release his tax returns but said … $61B takes more than TurboTax to process. He claimed he worked harder than a farmer to accumulate all that wealth. *snicker*. And smarter. With more gray matter.

    I don’t believe for ONE MINUTE that he will actually release ALL his Taxes … from all his offshore accounts and business entities. If he releases anything … it will be a highly “curated” made-for-afternoon-TV version of his taxes. And the lapdog media will say it all looks SUPER! Never questioning the missing bits at all.

    1. Kenji, he really doesn’t have to release anything any more that Trump has to. You can be damn sure in Trump’s case that if there were any irregularities the IRS would have been all over him.

  10. The fix is in for Mike. If somehow he isn’t the actual nominee, he will pay the tab and dictate terms, even to Bernie.

    That is, I hear, all right with Bernie.

    Discretion is the better part of valour. Bill and Hillary routinely killed people for less than what Liz did to Mike tonight. The smart thing would have been to boycott the debate entirely. Volunteering for Arkancide won’t save her campaign.

  13. CNN announced this morning that Mike did not do so well. As the announcer made that comment she looked off camera and shrugged as if to say “well it’s true”. Then CNN switched to Trump-bashing for Roger Stone and for the appointment of a new Ambassador to the EU (? or Germany?) who is [gasp] a Trump loyalist. Nothing else about the debate.

    note how QUICKLY certain groups latch onto the ‘heroes’ come to ‘rescue us’ from ourselves.
