    2. Cash (or barter) prevents tracking. It’s the only inoculation against this type of government-intervention flu. Governments that want to eliminate cash want to eliminate freedom. Full stop. I presume that this is the reason the CCP prevented the introduction of any banknote larger than 100RMB (=CA$20) up to this point, and is aggressively pushing the population to an all-electronic exchange system. Your electronic purchases in Canada are tracked at some level by someone. Which is why StatsCan wanted access to that information. [did they get it? that story kind of dried up.] So, the government reading that info isn’t far off, if it isn’t already here. The notion of freedom in Canada has largely been an illusion for many years, and the Prime Minstrel isn’t to blame for that. Well, not solely, at least.

      OTC meds aren’t tracked, unless you purchase electronically. If there’s a prescription or requires taking from behind the counter, it’s tracked. Alberta’s health system makes your prescription usage available to any pharmacist, whereas they used to be separately held at each pharmacy you used. Not long after I moved to Calgary in the mid-noughts, thanks to the ballooning crystal meth marketplace, you had to ask the pharmacist for Sudafed, and the good sh1t all but disappeared. The high-grade pseudoephedrine in 120mg caplets was the bomb for me, dual-purpose: it would scour my nasal passages dry, and it was awesome as a sleep aid, good for 6-8 hours, whereas most such drugs are through my system in a max of 4.

      1. If you have a cell phone, you are tracked. I have had coupons pop into my feed for the store I’m wandering around at that moment. My daughter went for a job interview with a tech company. In the light banter of the interview they shared, matter-of-factly, that absolutely EVERYONE has a profile, regardless of your social media/online buying or banking activity.

      The power in this country resides in the 200+ Parliamentary seats that cover Ontario and Quebec.

      The majority of French Quebecers are Corrupt, Anti Military, Anti English Liberals..always have been always will be. The majority of old stock Ontarians are Lovers of the Crown of England with serial hatred of the United States & Republicans. They too vote near always Liberals.

      With both provinces inundated with Sub Saharan – Middle Eastern Lowlife looking for free shit…they too will always vote Liberal. And both provinces had a love of Pierre Trudeau which should explain his sons anointment 40 yrs later. They all voted for a NAME.

      In both Provinces Socialism is fairly well entrenched – one look to the power of UNIFOR – CUPE (PUblic Service Unions), should suffice. The rest of Canada has some 145 seats amongst themselves. Its stacked in favour of Ont & Quebec.
