  1. So if a Canadian soldier falls in the Afghan desert, and no one is around to hear it, does he make a sound when he hits the ground?

    Ohh, oh Canada.

    Cheers

    Hans Rupprecht, Commander in Chief
    1st Saint Nicolaas Army
    Army Group “True North”

    1. Well the Tradespeople who built the Memorial worked very, very, quietly … mostly at night … just to beg the question. Which we all can answer for ourselves. But can you MAKE Trudoughboy answer for it?

      1. Starts with SNC, ends with Lavalin. The project cost a total of $78 billion dollars.

  2. Liberals along with their “leader”, Justine the Turdhole hate Canada so its no surprise that they hate the military too… I wonder if military personnel will vote for the eastern gangsters and their frisbee coach, again… who knows, Canadians aren’t the brightest bulbs on the tree now are they…. The next election all depends on whether or not Canadians want to “Stop Harper” ( whatever that means) and whether Turdhole has a sufficiently impressive pair of socks… I’m betting on the socks… “all babies are scientists”- Justine Turdhole Emperor of Daddy’s french colony.

  3. All Corrupt Liberal Party of Canadistan members hate our military almost as much as they hate Americans.
Any current or ex member of the miltary who votes Liberal is a douchebag.
Or an officer. Or maybe a K-becer.

    1. Buddy..
Bingo. Liberals have had a hate of the Military as long as I’ve been on this planet.
Remember Unification..?? I do, I lived it. That bit of Utter Useless BS cost the country Multi Tens of Millions as the Liberals shat all over us by pissing away said monies on uniforms and pageantry while denying us proper equipment & kit. Yea, I was in at that time. And morale was not good….I can’t imagine it being any better now with this POS PM dipshit in power.

TREASON..? On purpose willful destruction of the Country he was elected to Lead.?? pah, I can count the many ways. If ever there was a time when a sitting PM needed to be Blindfolded and put up against a concrete wall….? Now is it.

With the exception of the Gender Bending Pro LGBTQ Liberal (_i_) kissing cabal at DND HQ, not one self respecting soldier-airman-seaman would vote for these Fkrs.

      1. But the military votes in about the same proportions as the civilian voters do, so many in the military vote NDP, Green, Liberal, Conservative, probably a few communists and maybe some Christian Heritage voters.
Most military folks I have spoken to are NOT political and often vote the way their family always voted, just like the rest of us.

When people think of the military, visions of brave soldiers going into combat run through their minds, not the thousands of backup civil servants behind the guys in the front lines. Those ranks would undoubtedly vote to join UNIFOR if they could.

        1. Hardly a day goes by in Ottawa when some fat f**k of a disgrace in a uniform doesn’t stain a sidewalk.
F**k the Canadian military. In true British tradition do the officers still see the enlisted as cannon fodder and subhuman?
          Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.
And yeah I remember when blanks were made of gold because they sure as shit couldn’t give you even 1 magazine worth if you got any at all.
If they vote like regular Canadians as you say then they’re f**king themselves.

    2. I wonder how many military members are all three, how many of those are light colonels and above, and how much of an impediment having those three qualities would be for those aspiring to be generals…?

      1. I think at least two need to be on the resume to make it to General Asshole. Look at the f**ktard in charge now. I wouldn’t cross the street to give him the steam of my piss.

  4. To be fair, Great Leader Super Socks has to make sure there is enough money for homosexual parades this summer.

  5. The Canadian military has been turned into a bunch of paper pushing bureaucrats and a social experiment. Damn good thing we aren’t fighting a serious threat to the country such as Islamic jihad. the current Ramadan celebrations now have 1732 dead and 1029 wounded. I sure hope our “military” never has to do something about it.

  6. Oh well. All he has to do is give every veteran a big cheque for PTSD and all will be forgiven.

  7. Its these moments that make me imagine an actual conservative PM call a cabinet meeting right after the election and advising the assembled ministers that the funding currently provided to the CBC, and Office of Official languages will be transferred to the lifetime pension fund for veterans. With emphasis placed on “will be” not lets look into it.
    Yeah, its just a dream.

    1. Joseph… thats exactly why Peeair legislated an end to the Dominion and imposed his Supreme Court as the gatekeepers of Peeairs deranged kingdom… Governments can govern the nation as long as they know who’s really in charge of Peeairs mental asylum… the Turdhole Party, their Media and their Courts.

  8. One more example of trudope and the liebral cabal’s hatred for all things military . The spawn’s old man was no better . Sad to think that Canada squandered so much potential at the hands of those two jerks .

    1. Here’s something to consider: the Avro Arrow program began when Louis St. Laurent, a Liberal, was PM. Back then, that party supported the Canadian military.

Of course, if Prinz Dummkopf had been in charge, the proposal for a Canadian-built fighter aircraft would have been immediately rejected. Instead, he likely would have begged to buy second-hand MiGs from the Soviets or Chinese. (“They mutht be good. They were uthed in Korea, weren’t they?”)

        1. You’re welcome. In many ways, Prinz Dummkopf speaks less articulately than Thylvethter Puththycat. (“Thufferin’ thuccotath!”)

        2. • Abtrapperdude:
And because it is in the written form, it is pure deadpan comedy…I want to bust sometimes because our friend
          s-p-e-l-l-s so very well.

A few weeks ago I had to read what he wrote 3 times before I got it! It was, again, that he was writing as Justhin would speak and he, Justin, would be saying the name “SNC Lavelin” and it was written as “Esth N Thsee” or something to that effect. Ha! I almost died!

Our friend has a talent like no other!

          • B A Rupertsdude – let us know when you do your standup act!!

          1. Thanks.

I think I might have had a career as a stand-up comic, such as it was. I called it teaching, but many of my students–er, “customers”–treated my lectures as a joke. (Ta-dum tsh!)

    2. “Sad to think that Canada squandered so much potential at the hands of those two jerks .” Depressing, isn’t it.

  9. “What difference does it make?”
Hillary Clinton on the deaths of her Ambassador, the guards, and the wounded fighting in her embassy, in very much her Lybia Participation Award war.

It’s a Nork American lefty thing.

Also, I suppose none of the political dependent officers made a heroic fuss, non let out, or took ‘leadership” in getting a public memorial. Couldn’t do it. Well, actually any decent Captain on up could.
Its that they, not a one, could risk it to their career. Tell’s you something about so-called elites. Even in the forces.

  10. Seriously; what do you think the chances are that SNC Lavalin, or Bombardier, or one of the other Liberal cutouts built this for about a billion dollars?

What are the chances there was no bidding process, no documentation, no one knows anything, dindu nuffin.

Heck, maybe it was the Ottawa press corp, and “anonymous sources”.

  11. Liberals who don’t give a crap about the military. I’m shocked, I tell you, shocked.

Let’s see (I agree some overlap exists with Tories, as Jack Granatstein opined, we all turned the CF into a casualty):

Cancelled amazing marine helicopter with unmatched weather capability, cargo/payload, range, and more, and replaced it with ….
A knockoff from an obsolete airframe never designed as marine chopper unable to protect the ship it sits back of.
For more money and decades delayed.
Plus, when forced to buy the EH101 for search and rescue, purchased the civilian variant with Allison, not Rolls Royce engines.

Sent out soldiers into harms way with tin cans on wheels posing as hardy military vehicles.
Bought them from Mercedes for $20k each, but Bombardier assembled them and the cost rose ten-fold.

Set to cancel a project already approved for the only suitable new fighter for the Canadian Forces, iow 5th generation stealth.
Instead for more money, further delays and devastating loss of interoperability and capability, purchase a legacy fighter.

And for some, not so much me, cancel a state of the art fighter, the Avro Arrow CF105, and replace it with a Bomarc missile.
Plus, try to pigeon-hole a long-range stubby winged interceptor and expect it to safely execute close air support missions.

The list is a long one but Trudeau and Chretien are the standard bearers of the new Grit credo for military procurement.

Yesterday’s technology, for today’s dollars, for tomorrow’s missions. But cool crony projects like assembling jeeps.

I weep for what has become of our senior military leadership and the degradation of our capability.

It seems another dark decade is underway.

  12. // Liberals along with their “leader”, Justine the Turdhole hate Canada so its no surprise that they hate the military too //

You seem to think that everything you don’t like is the PM’s fault. What power!
This article has a bit more context than Menzies’ sustained whine.

// The monument, with shiny black plaques featuring each of Canada’s military and civilian war dead, stood for years at Kandahar Airfield in southern Afghanistan. It was moved to Canada after the combat mission ended in 2011.
Other than a tour of the country, it had been languishing in a warehouse until now. […]
In Vancouver, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he wanted to understand the department’s decision-making.
“(We want) to ensure that it is a monument that will be there for everyone who wants to remember and celebrate those veterans who stood for Canada,” he said […]
Vance said the fragility of the monument was behind the decision to put it indoors at defence headquarters. It would not, he said, have withstood being outdoors. Consideration was given to the War Museum but the memorial is “more than an artifact,” he said.
The memorial would not be moved, Vance said.
“There’s a certain elegance to that, because it’s a constant reminder for those who work in the headquarters … of the perils of war and the need to make good decisions around the committal of troops.”
Vance said he had asked “the team” to go back and look at ensuring wider access. […]

That last bit is a reminder that the military might intend to use this as a teaching tool for active soldiers. It’s a Canadian tradition: during the Korean war // only the Canadians seemed to succeed in preventing their soldiers from drinking this liquor. They adopted the dramatic expedient of tying to a post the body of a soldier who had died from it and parading the Canadian troops in front of the unfortunate man. // Knightley 1975
One wouldn’t want parents wandering in as an instructor explained “This the mistake that cost Private X his life ….”

    1. “dizzy”… you’re wrong… I believe everything the frisbee coach/substitute drama teacher/actor does and says is above reproach… Turdhole is always thinking of whats best for the military and the First Post National State… just like his Daddy… he’s playing 3D checkers or 4D tiddly winks while the rest of us poor slobs are still trying to decide which pair of socks to vote for… obviously everything Justine the Turdhole does and says is for the benefit of the “First Post National State with no core identity”, everyone knows that… “Quebecers are better than other Canadians because, we’re uhhhhhh, Quebecers.” Justine the Turdhole, substitute drama teacher and leader of the First Post National State with no core identity.

  13. Good one Menzoid! In what is soon to be one of the few free press media outlets of the deranged dominion, someone isn’t afraid to use the “Islamist” word without grovelling to the IB or their surrogates. Fear of offending the Spawn’s people is sickening.

BTW, we should have never gone to the Islamic wastelands in the first place.
