Maybe that’s a good idea. We can start with French. Time for “le” and “la” to dissappear. They could be replaced with one of “li, lo, or lu”. Or perhaps “lx” ?
French is a sexist language. Every noun, verb, pronoun, adjective, etc. has gender. Ban the language – it can’t be redeemed.

On a serious note, one can take umbrage in the fact that it will NEVER be gov’t* that settles mars. Therefore, no-one who actually designs the hardware to get there will ever, ever hear anything these morons have to say.
*Anyone working in the insane world of gov’t funded spaceflight have noted that for 50 years NOTHING changed. Why? Well what sane company would ever invest money to radically change the situation when the gov’t was happy to pay an insane price to launch, insane price for the flight hardware, and insane price to operate the assets in space. They didn’t need to invest to make money, just do the same thing and keep making money.

Andrew, this is something I think about a lot: the advisability of highlighting too much of this comico-psychotic crap. Over time it fosters the view that the “World” has gone stark raving mad, whereas maybe we are over-extrapolating these small groups of nutcases to represent “the world”.
We absolutely are. These people are a tiny vocal minority. Not only that, but do you think we’re actually changing the mind of a single progressive or even moderate with ridicule like this?
