The concept of “the rule of law” is a joke. It has always been that you can only buy as much justice as you can afford. If this were not the case, “injustice” would never be common, and the “right side” would always win in court. The only reason people are becoming more aware of this is due to widespread and instantaneous communication across large geographic distances, which is why controlling language, thought, and the narrative have become so all-important.
At what point do you decide the courts are a failure, and just start using live ammunition instead?

Exactly. CSA should’ve been low-hanging fruit for the Harper government. Clip their wings, reform them, get the corrupt bloodsuckers out of that org for good. Instead they covered their eyes & ears and saw no evil and heard no evil and let it fester and get even worse. What g-d good does it do us to elect Conservative governments if they can’t even get something like CSA fixed? The current Oland murder trial in New Brunswick is a must see. Investment broker son of Moosehead beer family, with $294 in savings and $20 in RSP is accused of killing his father in 2011. He of the $35 million fortune.
Convicted by a jury and sent to prison, he had the seemingly miraculous luck to have his sentence overturned by the Supreme Court and be at home within 6 months. Still on bail, he is being retried.
At the behest of Oland’s new, presumably pricey Ontario lawyers, the court decided to dismiss the jury and continue the trial before a Judge only.
