Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

The comments are terrific. The U.S. is a dessicated desert and is stealing Canadian water. And, China is mad at you because of us.
“The comments are terrific” no they’re not.
IMO the Canadian SJW clown at the start of the comments could have found a more appropriate thread to smear with his childish crap.
The maps are excellent and educational unlike the comments from the moron’s keyboard.
On the topic of melting ice and watershed.

Remember that a chinook in Calgary is proof of global warming.
Thats a lot of water.
I find the maps tedious and overwrought. Better yet would be a map of simplified TOPOGRAPHY which clearly (more readable graphics) illustrates the drainage basins of each major river system Not overly detailed graphics illustrating every 2ft contour line, or every creek.
Probably true but the thing I liked about the maps is they seem to give an accurate depiction of the exact area where every bit of the water will drain from.
For example the Saskatchewan River watershed drains a small area in Montana and you can just make that out where the small finger of land is marked in red.
