Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Look on the bright side. At least it wasn’t Stephen Harper’s or Doug Ford’s fault.
Hold on, hold on…aren’t Harper & Ford two of the ‘Evil Masterminds’ behind Global Warming?
As pointed out several times in the comments to the article, if the failure of Federer is to be attributed to global warming then too the success of Millman must necessarily be attributed to global warming.
I don’t watch tennis but I heard Federererer slipped on some Unicorn shit and thats why he lost.
everyday another idiocy.
So why was his opponent not affected by the very same global warming? I guess the impact of global warming is very selective.
His opponent is Australian and routinely practices in the sweltering (globally warmed) atmosphere of Sydney. Not the same thing as the cool of Switzerland
As an aside … I visited New Orleans once … and … O.M.G! How do people actually LIVE there in that heat and oppressive humidity? It’s a swamp. A hot, hot, nasty, sticky, swamp. Suitable for gators and other prehistoric flora and fauna.
hi kenji.
never been to NOLA, but my understanding is there in fact are a lot of ‘prehistoric’ type roaming around there.
when are we gonna have a science show detailing the discovery of still living dinosaurs found on the gulf coast area?
and, speaking of glowbull warming, the birdies are ALREADY pigging out at my bird feeder.
consulting with friends, they agree it could be an indicator of another ball busting cold winter gonna happen here in ontariowe.
just. like. last. year. Ive already begun additional winterizing actions.
p.s. y’all, due to the sit’n regarding captcha, I am abbreviating my handle to ‘hb’. it is not an ad for the use of pencils, although I like the idea of emphasizing my aversion to the gaggle of expensive digital devices.
Ha! HB is my most used, most desired design sketch pencil … not too hard, not too soft. I guess that makes me a pencil necked geek for being so “into” pencils. Ha!
Federer skipped the Rogers tournament in Toronto to practice in New York with its extreme heat and humidity for the US Open. Worked for a few rounds but age is a factor for this brilliant player. Love watching Federer play.
…..Cringe worthy, followed by laughable!
Just WAIT till the 2022 World Cup in Qatar! In fact, there’s been so much Global Warming in Qatar that for the first time in the history of the WC … they’ve moved the tournament date from June to December. However, it can still be 85deg.F in Dec. in Qatar. Thankfully, Ronaldo will have long since retired and will be filming underwear commercials in chilly Beaverton Or. Such a sacrifice…
What a joke. The reason the stadium was hot is because of a well-known problem of lack of air circulation due to the new roof.
Global warming my ass.
It is an engineering flaw that is currently being reviewed.
First Aretha’s cancer and now this. Damn you, global warming!
