  1. She wonders why it doesn’t happen more often? here’s why: when lefties show up at a Republican, it’s to disrupt the event and screech epithets at the top of their lungs. When the right shows up at a lefty event, like Marco Rubio and Dana Loesch did when they attended a rally in Florida recently, they were booed, interrupted, insulted, cursed at. Lefty kids were yelling Killer! Murderer! C*nt! BURN HER! at Dana, while Rubio was attacked by a snot-nose kid accusing him of all sorts of crimes because of his support of the NRA, among other things.

When the left shows up at a Republican event, it’s to disrupt and shout epithets at the speaker(s) with the goal of shutting down the event if they can. When the right shows up at a Democrat event, they are taking their life in their hands. The way Dana Loesch and Marco Rubio were treated by the Hitler Youth at the Florida rally for Parkland students was downright scary. Killer! Murderer! C*nt! Burn her! were the shouts at Dana. Rubio was demonized over his support for the NRA. Those little darlings in the stands were a howling mob.

  4. I am surprised that a man as clever strategically as Trump has yet to devise a way to seriously impair the mainstream media. Their DNC-inspired hateful rhetoric and combined propaganda campaign against ANYTHING conservative continues as hardcore as ever and has given countless millions of Americans a ‘Twilight Zone’ impression of conservatives.
    Trump hit a positive note in his CPAC speech when he hit the obligatory note about Republicans and Democrats putting aside their differences and collaborating. I think he should be hammering away at the ‘work together’ theme, juxtaposing it with the left’s intolerant and divisive ‘hypocrisy of the day’ comments.
    I’m sure there are many more Annafi Wahed’s out there.

    What CPAC taught me is that the deplorables label is 100% accurate. No event with LePen or Sheriff Clarke attending is one that civilized adults should have anything to do with.

  8. This is a problem in Canada also. Conservatives are regularly demonized and stereotyped — If you spend any time on reddit canada you will witness some of the major misunderstandings about Conservative views. We are still being identified as “anti-gay”, “anti-immigrant” “anti-science” and pro-evangelical. It is nothing but hogwash. Many of the people there I suspect are simply young and naive, some are die-hard leftists, but how to get them to be more open minded? I should have an answer for this since I myself went from left to centre-left to centre-right in my political views. I now feel my political leanings are exactly right for Canada. Conservatives are the most balanced in their views. Unfortunately, even those who are now anti-Trudeau do not seem to know where to park their votes. At this point I am somewhat sorry Conservatives did not elect Bernier. I think a lot of young people would like his perspective.

    It’s clearly not complete hogwash even if the left is dishonest in making their arguments. Mainstream Conservatism was riven with homophobia throughout the ’90s into the 2000s (Teh gay agenduh is coming for ur childrenz!). Mainstream Conservatism is riven with xenophobia through to today-the GOP is seriously entertaining a motion to massively reduce immigration, and Turmp has or plans to rescind work permits for spouses of H1-B visa holders (DEY TURK HIS JERB). And denying that humanity is warming the planet is absolutely anti-science (the left is every bit as anti-science on various facets such as fracking but they seem to have gotten over GMOs).
    You’re persecution complex is also annoying. You get what you deserve more or less.

    What you style a “persecution complex” may be something a little different.

    By dishonesty and deliberate manipulation lawless conditions have come to pass.
    Civil society,the foundation of our wealth and luxury, is becoming most uncivil.
    We western cultures just love a scapegoat.
    Sometimes we even get the right ones.
    Fools and bandits,AKA “progressive parasites” have always mistaken politeness and courtesy for fear and obedience.

  14. When I was in my early teens my father took me to an all candidates debate. One of the candidates only shouted slogans. The other three engaged in, more or less, reasoned debate. They were all shaking hands at the exit after the debate. As Dad shook the hand of the shouter he leaned
    in and said, quite loudly, Volume and repetition are the tools of a man with a weak argument. The left does not engage in reasoned debate because they know very well that if they do they will LOOSE!

    The rest of the world is moving on. Amnesty is as inevitable as gay marriage.
