Correct. I don’t remember the context of why she had the picture taken, and five minutes on google hasn’t triggered the memory on this, but, it was a pinup style shot, done in 1990 when she was the Justice Minister.

When I read that Kim Campbell had given this advice, I remembered immediately the nude legal robe photo. Then my second thought was perhaps she was having memory problems…

Seriously though, this could be the first time former conservative leader Kim Campbell has ever taken what might be considered a ‘conservative’ position.

She is a hypocrite but she isn’t entirely wrong. I have long found it extremely odd that women on newscasts wear sleeveless dresses on set (usually in NYC) in the middle of winter. It looks weird, inappropriate for the season and out of place professionally to be wearing what appears to be a cocktail dress in a corporate setting. One can only surmise they do it to use their ‘looks’ to draw in ratings. So either you want to be treated as an equal, serious professional or you want to be treated as eye candy – which is it ladies?

OMG! I forgot all about this! I actually somewhat agreed with her until this reminder. I have no problem with the sleeveless per se but I’ve seen some pretty good cleavage (Laura Ingraham a couple nights ago on FOX) showing that makes you wonder how their male ‘contributors’ feel. Especially with all this me too crap.

Kim Campbell still has a few fans in the ranks of the Conservative Party, but then,so does Joe Clark and he did a lot less harm in HIS short time in the PM’s Office than she did.
Canada dodged a bullet when Chretien massacred Campbell, a political whore the like of which even Mulroney hadn’t seen before. Thank Allah she was defeated or we wouldn’t be calling Justin Trudeau the worst PM in Canadian history.
Remember Kim stating that anyone who was against the Charlottetown Accord was “an enemy of Canada”. It didn’t seem to matter to Campbell that the Royal Canadian Legion was one of the groups most set against the agreement. She called hundreds of thousands of our War veterans “enemies of Canada”, which I personally will always consider unforgivable.
The bitch keeps popping up in the news the past year or so, I wonder why,surely she can’t imagine anyone would want her in their political Party.
