Not sure what the expenses such an event would incur however, a deficit $1.3m would seem to me that they had no revenue at all.

But I called this last year. Cycle is:
1) BLM blackmails Pride
2) Pride gives in
3) BLM blackmails again (which is what blackmailers do when they have a mark)
4) Donors and sponsors drop out
5) Pride demands government funding to make up for #4
6) Repeat as needed.
