Even progressives themselves had no stomach for the feminist version of Ghostbusters. Or, just ask the cast and crew of the popular series “Last Man Standing” how open ABC is to diversity.

Is there any actual evidence Hollywood is suffering? I could believe but the article does not provide it. Nor do I have much reason to believe that it’s a result of ‘PC’. As a matter of fact, the movie business seems bigger than ever because of all the foreign markets with emergent middle classes that can now afford to go out to see movies.
Hollywood has already embraced Democrats, so aren’t they basically there already?
Hollywood may be losing money at times, but the entertainment media is still pretty monolithic in its message. How many Canadians have bought into the “Trump is a moron” line just because they have heard it so many times? Yet how many people making that bold proclamation could have run his business empire? Kind of like the “Harper is a bully” meme that people believed just because they heard it so many times.
And rest assured, they are not pushing the left agenda because it makes money. (although most of them are still doing pretty well…) They are pushing it because they believe in it. And most of the masses absorb it without thinking.
If the Democrats embraced Hollywood any more, they’d squeeze the life out of the industry.

My form of “protest” or “revolt” is quite simple…I don’t go to the theatre….period…the odd Movie I do watch, I stream.
And I could care less what some have to say about it….I was paying over $ 130/mo to Telus for multiple same channels for multiple decades, lousy programming and near 40% of said content was commercials…trying to sell me crap I don’t want or need. finally got fed up – bought an android box…and will not look back.
Hollywood and the big TV providers can kiss my (_i_)…I’ve paid enough over my lifetime…and there’s always – U-tube and other sources for TV shows/Movies. if I am really desperate….OTA Digital.
Hmmm Game of Thrones tomorrow…gonna be interesting.
