Happy 241st birthday to my American friends and neighbors. May your current partisan civil war find a positive resolution without the need to expand the fighting beyond keyboards, microphones or a few violent thugs.
With Trump, at least you have a fighting chance. Up here, I see no conservative leader anywhere on our horizon who is willing to challenge the leftist slime machine and their frightening willingness to destroy our very sovereignty. Go Trump!

Canada is perhaps the conscience of the USA, in so many ways a grown-up role model, a mentor. At the moment, we have no Brian Mulroney or Ronald Reagan just now, but we have a common border which, please God, will be more open, we have each other, and we have hope.

Well … all I know is that I’ve been told that Florida is going to shrink-up like a stack of dimes … once global warming floods Florida with 3 or more meters of sea level rise. America won’t be so well-hung anymore. America will look more like a tuck-under Tranny.
OK, OK … I know that my hardcore cynicism sometimes goes over the top … however, I have a very hard time accepting Sam the Eagle as a legitimate “symbol of America”. Instead, all I see is Jim Hansen’s Communist mockery of America. I see Sam the Eagle as … “an angry white male patriot” speaking in blunt, angry, platitudes about America. Sam the Eagle was hardly created as a positive representation of America, but as a dour, nasty old “white” curmudgeon who screams at the illegal immigrants to … “get off his lawn”. All I see in this Jim Hansen puppet is his HATE of American patriotism … and HATE for American patriots.

Sam the Eagle was supposed to be ridiculous, so was Archie Bunker and Alex P. Keaton. Slapshot was supposed to be a takedown of hockey, it goes on and on. Born in the USA was supposed to be an attack on patriotism, except that whatsisname forgot that nobody listens to the lyrics, just the chorus.
