Brian Jean drops a bomb on the Alberta NDP. Game changer.
There is no more uncertainty. There is no more discussion of the Wildrose and the PCs soldiering on their own against Notley’s NDP in 2019.
There is no thought of the two parties co-operating in the 2019 election but remaining separate.
Jean is now foursquare behind one united conservative party if Jason Kenney becomes leader of the Progressive Conservatives in March and comes knocking on Wildrose’s door.
Yeah right… that’s why the WR formed the government in the last election…. oh wait….

Do an internet search on ” Trump right wing extremist” and you’ll find all kinds of hits from McLean’s magazine to the CBC to the New York Times, Slate, News Week, all Left wing publications slandering Trump as a “right wing extremist”.
North of 60 uses Prod-speak to slander Wildrose and it’s supporters as “right wing extremist” and I must say, I’m proud to be in the same company and slandered with the same Prog-speak as President Trump.

I’ve been asking myself that for over fifty years. I guess Canadians just tune out enough to what is going on besides the latest hockey score or a daughter in dance to continually believe the soft propaganda lies that never come through from the politicians and their media enablers. The Laurentian Elite just love docile sheep.
And that is why I am willing to let it all burn down. You want to obey CBC and run screaming whenever someone says “hard” right? Then suffer as Canada lurches towards it’s own Maoist great leap forward. Your “big tent” has no room for social conservatives? Then enjoy your $75,000 a month atmosphere taxes, as your leaders take private jets to virtue signalling talks in Bali (taking staff numbering in the hundreds of thousands with them). You think “moving to the center”, will work this time? What about the 200 year history of conservatives in Canada “moving to the center”? How has that worked out for everyone so far? Don’t worry; CBC says “this time will be different”, and they have leaned conservative for centuries and would never lie just to get Bob Rae elected. And all the polls they push showing how real conservatives can never get elected, they never lie to push ideology, so you can totally believe that great steaming pile.
Brian Jean is a nice enough guy, but his political instincts are almost always wrong, and this is no exception.
Alberta doesn’t need to “unite” two conservative parties, we need to ELECT the most conservative party every damned election. If that means pushing the PCs to fourth party status to get a Wildrose Government, so be it.
The political centre needs to be MOVED. Every centre-left Albertan needs to be neutralized or converted. Extreme leftists on social media need to be challenged and vilified.
Caving to them isn’t the answer. Softening the morally justifiable conservative message isn’t the answer. If we learn anything from Rachel Arab, it’s that you nominate your most extremist members as MLAs, and then you push hard that anybody who disagrees is wrong, and then you win.
It is hugely amusing to watch trolls loose their sh_it when exposed to the fact that some people have more than one internet identity.
