She was violently attacked by a thug who took exception to the fact that she was recording.
Ezra has offered a $1000 reward for the identification of the criminal.

And then to top it off, she was shoved and insulted by a member of the Canadian Press?
Guy should lose his job and never work in the field again, but I think everyone here knows how likely that is.
After the MacDonald article last week and the CBC crew selling “Hate” shirts I posited that these were the hallmarks of the 1930 NAZIs. This is just one more example of how far the progressive Liberals have unmasked themselves. What is happening in America at the ‘protests’ is starting to resemble a simmering cauldron that the leftists are trying to seal a lid on. When it comes to a boil nobody will be safe. We have sat quietly while the Lib/Dems have eroded our freedoms and now that the pendulum is starting to swing back they are going all out and double and tripling down because they cannot control the news anymore. I do not expect the left and their ally the media to cede any ground, that they gained under Obama, quietly. It will be incidents like this that will ultimately rent our culture.
Somehow I doubt the “photographer” works for the Canadian press.

If the RCMP were there watching it all, I doubt that they would lay charges because they don’t believe in freedom and would likely side with the protester because Sheila was annoying him with her questioning of their motives. In Canada, is there still a right to free speech if you might offend a snowflake? Sheila managed to expose the underbelly of the left at the cost of a bruised face.

1) This is not a bar on Friday might. This is supposed to be a peaceful feminist rally and some asshole hits a woman .. or man for that matter.
2) If the tables were turned and this was a pro-Trump or pro-male rally and a protester hit a female reporter it would be world news….would be all over CTV, CBC, Global and USA channels in a heartbeat,. It would be viral on YouTube.

I blame the mainstream media. I was at a home gathering this PM. In SW Sask. and with our oil jobs falling to the wayside in places like Swift Current, Shaunavon, Eastend, Gull Lake etc., there is no doubt that Donald Trump and the Keystone issue are common topics, as is Trudeau, Rachel Notley and their henchmen who are in the government to stifle the west. They all agreed that the CBC, CTV, CNN and other similar networks are on someone’s payroll to be able to motivate activists against the American right.
Then we got on the topic of riots and demonstrations. My Dad was a Shell Canada service station operator, along with a bulk fuel and farm supply business. Shell was often the target of demonstrators, simply because the company had outlets and refineries in places such as South Africa and the Middle East. In one demonstration at a marine outlet on the west coast of BC, some of the demonstrators were questioned by security guards as to the purpose of their protests. Some of them later admitted to have been paid for by an anonymous source, and didn’t understand the issues as to why they were protesting. Our area rep was on the coast when this happened. He contacted CBC and CTV to do a story on the topic, the commie networks flatly refused. This was 1970, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
