He outlines the whole stupidity of race politics. Republicans promised better jobs, Democrats promised better welfare. Republicans assume that blacks are grownups. Democrats assume they are too stupid to function without help at every stage through life.
In Canada is a great example. Sixty years ago, Indian reserves were more or less self-sufficient with virtually everyone working. Today, virtually no-one is working and substance abuse, suicide, and violence is universal. The more money they get, the more dysfunctional they become. What’s the Liberal solution – give them more money.
Refreshing! And he’s not alone: “Please Stop Helping Us”, Jason L. Riley, and anything by Thomas Sowell or Walter E Williams. This message is competing unsuccessfully against Lewis’s comeback on CBC, etc.
Race politics whether Immigrants, Blacks, Natives or East Asians is all about dipping hands into someone else’s pocket. It is an industry for so many.
In Canada it is the Native and Immigrant industry. By best friend growing up was a Mohawk Canadian and his family steadfastly refused to descend into self pity. Very modest means but a mother who demanded standards and got them from her children. My friend now owns a business that employs +800 people and to this day rues the dependency that the industry has led Natives in to.

I don’t know what part of Canada you saw Native self sufficiency but it was not in my area. As long as the reservation system exists any initiative by an individual member will be snuffed out. My father and other farmers tried to help a native in the ’50’s get a farm going on Reserve farm land. He planted and harvested 300 acres and when the crop came off the Band stepped in and seized the crop. He received a pro-rated share of the crop which no where close came to compensating him for his time. He quit farming.
Individual band members live within a communist system. Individual initiative is often viewed as a threat to the existing Band leadership. Almost impossible to develop positive roll models for native youth.
Combine all this with the industry of individuals and companies who prey on Bands as they flog useless services or over priced services. Much of this ripoff is condoned and even participated in by members of the federal bureaucracy. Do away with the Indian Act and provide social services through the same system that all Canadians can use.

When I heard this man speak on Tucker’s show … I reminded my wife that today’s Democrat party is NOT the party of JFK (whose policies would be described as EXTREMIST right wing, today). Nor is it the party of the Black Panthers … this Panther (anyway)is pragmatic-enough, and smart-enough to know that the Democrat party has treated the black man like a retarded step-child. Throwing him crumbs from the table just to keep him alive. But never letting him LIVE.
The Democrap party is reaping what they have sowed for 50 years … welfare for single ghetto mothers. Which has bred a vast underclass of uneducated, hopeless, basket-cases. And the Democraps are doubling-down on their permanent VICTIM base by expanding welfare to illegal immigrant mothers. We know where this will end. When the permanent underclass outnumbers the productive class … it will be OVER.
I pray Trump can reverse this horrific cultural decline. Before it’s too late.
The Whitecap reserve near Saskatoon is another example of a one that works.
Whitecap was a Dakota Sioux who came north with Sitting Bull. When the Canadian government cut off aid to those refugees to placate the U.S.A., Sitting Bull led most of his people back to surrender. Whitecap was Chief of the minority who stayed. Canada gave them a reserve, (land not thought worth farming, as with most reserves) but no “treaty money” or other support, they had to make their living or starve. They made their living, and generally still do.
Welfare culture ruins people no matter what their race.
The Democrats have been masterful at spreading and holding on to the false narrative that they weren’t the party of slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation. It’s likely why history is no longer taught unless “revised” or sterilized. Ike tried to pass Civil Rights legislation in the Fifties but couldn’t get it passed by the Democratically controlled Senate under the majority leadership of one Albert Gore Senior. When it finally got passed, it was only because of the Republican votes.
White Cap came in 1862 after the massacre of 800 whites in Minnesota. Sitting Bull came in 1876 and left in 1881.

If you look at JFK’s foreign policy, by today’s standards he would be classified as a neo-con. Fox News had a show the other night about Eisenhower’s final days as president. I found it interesting that when Kennedy was in over his head he called Ike at least a couple of times to ask for advice.

JFK’s Executive Order #10988, January 17, 1962 that allowed the civil service to Unionize, …could hardly be described as extremist right wing.
The result of it is that both the government and the union are on the same side of the negotiating table today, the deals that have been struck are an unsupportable burden on the American taxpayer, and that Unionized civil servants cannot be fired or relieved of their pay or pensions for any cause.(see Lois Learner)
The only good part is that being an executive order, it can be quickly rescinded by another President, if he was so inclined.
However, the deals that have already been struck will still continue.

Alright … so I generalized. Because what you just reminded me … IS … the root of so much EVIL infecting our government today. Along with compliant voters who ALLOW the massive, UN-funded, gold-plated salaries, retirement, and benefits packages to government workers eat-away at every tax dollar to the point of absurdity. We, taxpayers, are now paying a giant percentage of our taxes to support non-working, non-productive, 50yo retirees … who are often re-hired by the government to double dip into our pockets.
