  1. Holy shiiit that’s exactly where we are, spells it out perfectly. We are sleepwalking to Canada’s doomsday.

  2. We need to understand that it is Progressive Canadians who feel smug and superior.
They make us all look like idiots but as we have Notley, Wynne, and Trudeau I would say they are winning.

  3. Collectively, ‘we’ deserve what we get when we elect, or allow to become elected, people like this. Unfortunately most voters/countries MUST learn the hard way, and many never learn at all.

  4. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Russia will annex us after the Turd decimates our armed forces.

  5. I look at this guy and think, how in the hell did he get elected? Then I reflect and remind myself that we here in the USA elected a POTUS for 8 years that makes Trudeau look “Reaganesque”….

  6. Yes, we deserve what we will be getting in the way of a communist state. The laws and penalties being passed like a flowing river are breathtaking
I am just thankful that my grandfather nor my older uncles, or my wife’s grandfather and father did not live to see the day that the country they escaped to because they wanted freedom from the communist Marxism has become what they left in the early to mid 1920s.
Make no mistake, people like Professor Jordan Peterson, real Christian groups and some of us will at some point be hauled off to jail. Even some of our so-called conservative politicians with progressive bents are supporting this. The people in general will wake up on different mornings and wonder why they have to whisper to their spouse or even if they can trust them. Further, at some point the students, that embrace this Marxism so enthusiastically and encourage enforcement on all of us, will, like Sandor Gossman of the Wilfrid Laurier students cafe, somewhere along the line run afoul of the “brave new world” and end up like their Russian counterparts did in the 1930s.

  7. We need and Asteroid.
The good news is that no matter what happens to become Canada’s future, the Liberal Progressive Left will not be apart of it.

  8. This guy makes some valid points but I think he needs to use a narrower brush.
The GTA is not like Saskatchewan and California is not like Texas.

  9. It is actually quite dispiriting that a complete tool like boy-Trudeau can be elected PM in Canada. That someone so unqualified for the office can be chosen by the people of Canada. It really calls into question, the priorities of the electorate. Just like the extreme bottom and extreme top of Americans, a majority of Canadians are addicted to Free Stuff from other people’s taxes. The only qualification this CHILD-leader of Canada possesses is his surname. It sends shivers down my spine to imagine that the surgically-altered Clinton spawn could someday be elected to redistribute American’s taxes … because of her surname.

  10. The video seems like a pretty good assessment of the situation. We have several advantages over previous generations and places. We’ve see it before, I think what we are seeing now has strong parallels to previous communist takeovers. The people commenting here are like the educate business class in Pol Pots Cambodia, and the SJWs are the Khmer Rouge. We have the advantage of knowing how that ended. One one hand I am sorely tempted to “go Galt” but that won’t prevent the inevitable death through starvation or a bullet in the back of the head which was the fate or our kind in Cambodia. I have the skills and hardware to disappear into the wilds of north western Ontario if I have to, and I am ensuring that my children do to.

  11. Saskatchewan isn’t like the GTA? How do you explain tommy douglas?
I’ve said this here for years,
if Canada was in the EU we would be the
most progressive of any country. Our form of conservatism is socialism. Our most right leaning conservatives are way left of the Democrats.
True conservatism is a fiction in Canada.

  12. I’ve heard countless retards say in the same breath “americans are ignorant baffoons…. unlike us canadians”. They have no sense of irony. None. If you said to them all chinese people are smelly or some equally ridiculous generalization they would be shocked and offended immediately.

  14. All of this started in 1965 with the adoption of the liberal flag of eastern Canada. What other country has for its main symbol a piece of dead foliage.
It doesn’t help that there is not an honest political party but the sheeple of Canada keep voting for these Progressive Green Scammers.
There was a light at the end of the tunnel but manning and his Christian right not only unscrew it but smashed it and ripped out the wiring.
    Canada RIP

  15. The smug self-satisfaction of progressive Canadians can be quite galling. It is also self-defeating. I have long suspected that the big push to bring in more Muslims during the last election was on one level a “holier than thou” gesture aimed at Americans who were balking about immigrants at the time. I also believe that our clinging to the UN is somehow intended to take Americans down a peg or two. This is all very self-defeating in the end. We are losing ground to the US economically, and we have never been their equal in other ways (culturally, political clout, technologically etc.). Canadians seem not to have noticed that the UN is made up of at least 50% oppressive, self-serving countries who are using the UN umbrella — not for cooperation, but to gain advantage for their own thug governments. We should be aligning ourselves with the US. Instead we often seek to antagonize them. It really makes us look like losers. Every time I am abroad and I see one of those Canada patches on a bag or jacket, I cringe. Makes the person seem smug, narrow in their thinking and totally behind the times. While hoping to gain stature vis a vis the Americans, we are losing ground rapidly — Libs and Trudeau are making us a laughing stock.

  16. Nice to read all the cheery comments here! Glad everyone else is as optimistic as I am.
Once we old buggers die out in the next 10-20 years, our former world,Canader,USA and EU, will undergo a transformation even our science fiction writers would have a hard time with.
It’s hard at this point to tell if we will become a Caliphate or a Marxist tyranny as in BNW or 1984, but what we won’t have is the multicultural paradise we now enjoy.
And the beauty of it all is the citizens of that time will be perfectly content with their new world, where all responsibility, all decision making will be in the hands of government or the imams. Citizens will only have to exist as a herd of sheep, with everything already thought of for them, they will love it.
We might as well enjoy the next 20 years of relative freedom we have left, as it appears it will be the last such era on this planet. Welcome to the Obedient New World.

  17. Canada had a reason to look down on the US while Harper was PM and the US was inflicted with Obama. Under the Spawn, Canada is a planetary disgrace.

  18. There’s no reason to be optimistic for Canada. As I said in a post a week or so ago, there is no intellectual basis for the idea of Canada. The Americans had the Federalist and anti-Federalist Papers, Burke, Bastiat, etc. England has had the royalty and their isolated nature to become England (before they lost their minds) but what is Canada? The video is right: if the Timmy’s is hot, the beer is cold and the Leafs game isn’t delayed on HNIC, who cares what Canada is?
Canadians preen that they’re not American (I say the official sport of Canada isn’t lacrosse but Hating America), that they’re just so much better, that they’re more free, and whatever else kind of garbage they choose… but nobody can tell me what Canada really IS. I, as a Canadian, can articulate what America is (and might just become again under the Trumpening) much better than what Canada is.

  19. The number one injury in Canada?
Dislocated shoulders….from self-congratulatory back patting that we are better/smarter/different-and-therefore-so-superior to the Yanks.
Oh….I forgot more modest and nicer of course; we would never brag or elevate ourselves above anyone.
I want to puke every time I hear this sanctimonious shit. Men who spout it suffer from LDS. First word is little and the last one is syndrome. Everyone on CBC has it.

  20. The explanation of the election of the empty-head with a name revered by the left can be summed up in two words and that is the “leftist media” and their Laurentian Elite masters from the Gatineau Hills. The media were pushing hard with propaganda and brainwashing the public from the day the useless teat first ran for office in a safe seat in Montreal.
