  1. The Obama-Nation™ prefers controversy, rather than acknowledge the DNC had a failed candidate, with failed foreign policy, failed ethics and and failed platform.
Demonstrable corruption through the Clinton Foundation and setting the Middle East on fire through support of destabilization efforts in Libya and Syria only speak to the military industrial complex.
Making the Russians the ‘everlasting bogeyman’ is disingenuous at best for this failed Nobel Peace Prize winner.

  2. “The [U.S.] State Department paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayers grants to an Israeli group that used the money to build a campaign to oust Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in last year’s Israeli parliamentary elections, a congressional investigation concluded Tuesday.”
Does Obama mean interference in an election like that?

  3. All the hullabaloo about the source of the emails is a diversion from the main point – the corruption and manipulation that were revealed in the emails. It does not matter who obtained them or how (good on Steyn for referencing “pussygate”); what matters is the true, substantiated information they brought to light.
True and substantiated. Unlike the current rhetoric from Obama. This may be the scariest moment since the fool was elected. Will he risk war with Russia just to get his way… to bar Trump or extend his own miserable reign? How small is he?

  4. Assange has stated it was the DNC emails were leaked, not hacked, and has categorically stated it wasn’t the Russians.
It’s easier to wallow in fake news conspiracies and Russian subterfuge than to accept the fact the Dem statist model has been soundly rejected.
Yet they wail. This article provides some insight into their motivations?
“Now the backers of the global warming alarm will not only be called upon to debate, but will face the likelihood of being called before a highly skeptical if not hostile EPA to answer all of the hard questions that they have avoided answering for the last eight years.  Questions like:  Why are recorded temperatures, particularly from satellites and weather balloons, so much lower than the alarmist models had predicted?  How do you explain an almost-20-year “pause” in increasing temperatures even as CO2 emissions have accelerated?  What are the details of the adjustments to the surface temperature record that have somehow reduced recorded temperatures from the 1930s and 40s, and thereby enabled continued claims of “warmest year ever” when raw temperature data show warmer years 70 and 80 years ago?  Suddenly, the usual hand-waving (“the science is settled”) is not going to be good enough any more.  What now?”
Yes, they were 33% certain 2015 was the hottest year on record, but left that tidbit out of their alarmist news releases.
I understand the EPA and other statist rent seekers are manning the barricades and stone walls as we speak.

  5. All this is damage control for the Demos. They lost and they know that. Media today is all about limiting Trump initiatives and establishing doubt about the legitimacy of those initiatives. A little bit of something for the diehard Demos and those who jumped ship to vote Trump.
Hope that Trump can turn the economic ship is a hope based on little reality but his option was better than the ‘more of the same’ Hillary BS. There is a high probability of a major recession during the Trump 4 year term. The Demos will build off that.

  6. A most excellent point!
Btw we must also remember that assorted “Not for Profit” groups in Canada, which actively & regularly protest against the Conservatives, are deeply funded by Americans.

  7. Obama is trying to sour the USA’s relationship with Russia just to screw up Trump and it’s undoubtedly driven by the fact the whole world recognizes how badly Obama was played by Putin.
    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/24/us/cash-flowed-to-clinton-foundation-as-russians-pressed-for-control-of-uranium-company.html
I’ve posted this article previously, and I’ll keep on doing so until everyone recognizes the fact Clinton has closer ties to Russia than Trump. AND she made money off of it!
One of Saul Alinsky’s rules is: always accuse the enemy of doing what YOU are doing. The Democrats and Obama are doing so, and some conservatives still don’t recognize what they’re seeing.

  8. “Military industrial complex”… A little knowledge truly is a dangerous thing. Scientific technological elite was the other warning in the same speech by the same man. Doubt you have ever even heard the term.

  9. “But I thought that Obama was the smartest person in the government? …”
That may be true. And I don’t mean that in a good way.

  10. The media/Dem false narratives are becoming so convoluted and transparently false that they do not even care anymore. Its all about “official narrative” being the only reality – even if that narrative changes mid sentence as it is now.
(copied from Errata Security Blog below)
Consider the example in the book 1984 regarding the ongoing war between the three superstates of Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia (representing English, Russian, and Chinese empires respectively).
At the start of the book, Oceania is at war with Eurasia. They have always been at war with Eurasia. That’s the political consensus, and all historic documents agree. However, Winston Smith (the protagonist) remembers a time five years ago when Oceania was instead at war with Eastasia. Winston Smith struggles with philosophical idea of “truth”. Which is more true, what everyone knows and what’s in the newspapers, or the memories within his head?
Then Ocean’s allegiance switched back again. On the sixth day of Hate Week, as crowds gathered to denounce Eurasia, the Party switched enemies to Eastasia. In a particularly rousing speech against their enemy, the speaker was handed a slip of paper, and in mid-sentence, without pause, without change in content or tone, he changed the name of the enemy he was speaking against to Eastasia. Eurasia was now their dearest friends. Those holding banners denouncing their enemy were suddenly embarrassed to discover they had unaccountably written the wrong name, and quickly trampled and destroyed them.

  11. The Obama nation/UN are worried about “his” legacy in Syria… The demonetization of Putin & Trump is a last ditch attempt (Hope) that they will get together BEFORE Jan 20th, such that Obama can claim credit and not go down as a failure. The future likely-hood that Trump & Russia may solve Syria (M/E) after Obama and the UN are gone is very important..
    Pitiful performance by Obama

  12. Going back to hurricane Katrina and LTG Russell Honore, his words “you are stuck on stupid” clearly sums up the democrats and all those who are doing everything to vilify and delegitimize President elect Donald Trump.

  13. Nah, just have a math/physics degree but I’m monumentally stupid 🙂
Please review the video posted, you might find it enlightening, should you have a sense of humor.
So you’re suggesting that US foreign policy in Libya and Syria and all that came after has been a rousing success worthy of applause?

Splendid, just in time for Christmas…to quote Mark Steyn:
“By contrast, Obama knew that American democracy was being subverted but uttered not a peep – and, indeed, assured us all that subverting US elections was impossible. “There is no serious person out there who would suggest that you could even rig America’s elections,” he said all the way back on October 18th. Less than two months later, we learn that every serious person in Washington spent October advising the President that the elections were being rigged.

  14. When the Dems realize that the latest effort by “celebrities” doesn’t change the outcome of the Electoral College votes, Obama will start WWIII to prevent a Trump presidency. Kidding … I think.

  15. No doubt in my mind that elections can be influenced by media and directly by voter fraud and actual ballot manipulation. The Dems have demonstrated all this in many of their strong holds. Union votes are famous for this. Hoffa and his Teamsters were legendary.
I doubt Trump was far off on his prediction of +2 million fraudulent ballots.

  16. Well … all I know is that Josh Ernest had some VERY stern and somber words for the American people yesterday. That Obama and “The White House” does NOT think Russian hacking into our election process is the least bit “funny”. Stern-faced. Grim tone. Dead serious. Josh Ernest.
The man (and the whole “White House”) is ONE BIG JOKE !
And the American people are STILL LAUGHING

  17. Problems with voter registration were known about long before the election…since 2012!
    http://www.pewtrusts.org/~/media/legacy/uploadedfiles/pcs_assets/2012/pewupgradingvoterregistrationpdf.pdf
    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/10/elections-expert-now-4-million-ineligible-dead-voters-american-voter-rolls-video/
Elections expert J. Christian Adams told FOX and Friends on Tuesday morning there are 4 million dead people on US voter rolls.
Adams, who was the Voting Section Attorney at the US Department of Justice, filed six suits in the past year against Philadelphia and Broward County, Florida where the voter rolls are corrupted.
Adams said he had one case in Texas where the person died in 1944.
Far left groups continually sue to keep the voter rolls the way they are. The Obama administration has no desire to clean up these voter rolls.
Research commissioned by the Pew Center on the States highlights the extent of the challenge:
Approximately 24 million—one of every eight—voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate.
More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters.
Approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state.
But of course the Obama-Nation™ knew all these facts well before the election but clearly the shoddy US record keeping is all “Putin’s fault”.
    Hah…!

  18. I’m watching Obama’s press conference. What an insufferable know it all. A know it all who’s learned nothing.

  19. @Hans: That video has been used to mock several different events ….. and it still works great.
@CT: Your first sentence “All this is damage control for the Demos.” Ah, NO. It’s much more than damage control.
Your second sentence “Media today is all about limiting Trump initiatives and establishing doubt about the legitimacy of those initiatives.” Closer but not BIG enough.
This is really part of the overall effort to DE-LEGITIMIZE the President elect (#notmypresident). The main effort has, to date, 4 parts but with several variations.
    1. He lost the popular vote.
    2. There was voter fraud (but only in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania).
    3. The evil Russians conspired with him by hacking Hillary’s emails (he’s a Putin puppet).
    4. The state electors don’t want to vote for him because he’s not qualified.
Now we can add in the shots hitting around the knees …. and these even before he takes office. This is where the press comes in:
    5. He’s anti science.
    a. he will destroy the accumulated climate data (hard to understand this claim).
    b. he will dismantle government funded climate science.
    c. he will promote leaky pipelines and dirty coal.
    6. His cabinet is full of white males and not representative of America.
    7. His cabinet is all very wealthy (like that’s never happened before).
    8. He is a loose cannon (twit).
    9. His lack of diplomacy will cause conflicts with out friends and allies … and also with China.
I’m going to stop. I hope I’ve made my point. The efforts to de-legitimize and undermine the President elect are broad and wide. Expect new efforts going forward. We in the U.S. are very close to civil war. When it happens, the press will be totally surprised ….. just as they were about the election.

  20. There are no depths the Obamanation™ will s prolong their lies and malfeasance.
    1984 indeed!

  21. Oh come on now, he reads the papers and watches the TV news, and that’s how he learns everything, well except Russian:-)))

  22. Missiles for Jihadists. If Russia starts losing planes I’m guessing so will the Americans. I suspect Russia will simply switch to cruise missiles and high altitude bombing. I love how Americans can tell the difference between good Jihadists and bad Jihadists. The bad Jihadists are the ones that use oil money to buy American missiles from good Jihadists.

  23. Oh please…the emails revealed that democrats broke the law…when are they going to get prosecuted?
We, the US, hacked Merkel, Brazil, Mexico, etc for years..get their private phone calls, emails, and texts
Who care who hacked it…what it exposed is the issue

  24. David in Michigan: We in the U.S. are very close to civil war. When it happens, the press will be totally surprised ….. just as they were about the election.
David, my only question is if it will be the popular ‘militia’ or, as the Generals pledge their allegiance to the constitution, not the president, will it come to a General going full ‘Augusto Pinochet’.
Either way, as you say, the press, along with the rest of the left will be totally surprised.

  25. The transition to a Trump presidency is moving smoothly and the markets have shown some cautious gains. The wealthy people don’t want to upset that optimistic balance, even if they don’t like Trump. Almost everyone want’s peace, stability and prosperity.
The Trump opposition is concentrated in a few areas, most are in Californicatia and a few other cities. It’s unlikely to get much traction between now and the inauguration.

  26. This whole thing is backfiring on these people. The polls all point to people not believing it. The days of the DNC putting out talking points to the press and them pushing them for days are coming to an end and very soon. They will not be able to George Bush Trump. They will not be able to destroy his presidency because he’ll hit them back. He’s going to tweet from the oval orrifice about what a bunch of lying scumbags the dnc/media are.

  27. After the Electoral College vote on Monday Dec 19th I’m about 99% sure there will be a phone call from someone to Barry O instructing him to shut up, stand down and start getting on with retirement. The “smooth” transition in power is a joke. Donald J will have to seize it from the communists.

  28. Those that think that the CIA does not have a partisan divide, do not remember the “Valerie Plame” episode. She & her Husband (Ambassador) worked for the CIA… GW Bush knew about the political division problems, but failed to fire them & they all became Obama’s friends@ CIA… Trump better drain the CIA swamp… GWB failed, he was not a closer

  29. If anybody here is shocked that the US has interfered in other elections (e.g. Israel and Brexit) not only during the Obama administration but in its long-term foreign policy, raise your hands.
Second point. Turkey is a member of NATO. Turkey has done nothing to help eradicate the ‘good rebels’ out of Syria, in fact has even tripped up the Kurds, who are fighting to carve out a homeland in both Syria and Turkey.
When push comes to shove, Obama and foreign policy dictates the US must line up with Turkey.
The situation is a total mess with competing interests every which way and it would be best if the US just stayed the frack away from there, which Donald Trump is proposing, ISIS being the exception.

  30. No, no, James, the Dems hired private security firms who investigated and they have proof the Russians did it. I heard it in solemn tones on local Calgary radio this morning. It must be true …
The unfortunate thing is that I’d guess that close to three quarters of the people who heard that report will believe it’s true.

  31. Yup. Alliance with Russia to eradicate ISIS and otherwise staying out of other country’s political affairs would be best. We should not forget how upset we would be if those countries meddled in our internal affairs.

  32. So last week the talking point which didnt work was
The reason Hillary lost was because of fake news…..
The implication being that those wikileaks about the inner workings of the DNC and the colusion of the media was all fabricated by the “alt right”(tm).
This week the talking point is that it was the Russians that did the hacking….
Anyone outside of the libleft fantasyland has already spotted the inconsistency, that if anyone actually hacked into the DNC all the sorid details described in those emails would have to be actually true.
I give the media till sunday to realize this only too late.

  33. We’ll see.
Barky is the type of bitter, malignant power hungry narcissist, that may just be looking for a reason to, oh I don’t know, declare martial law, attack the Tea Party, declare Trump an enemy of the state with his Russian friends, and name himself El Presidente for life.
Cuz Climate Change is the #1 problem of our times.

  34. @Derek: Alas, I misspoke. It should have said “IF it happens….” not “When it happens….”
The trigger of revolution will be the success of the left’s efforts to de-legitimize the election (i.e., overturn it). The Generals (the military) will support the Constitution because the military is essentially conservative.
@John Galt: ” Almost everyone want’s peace, stability and prosperity.” Yes, I suppose that’s true for the majority. But how about those disaffected who want revolution, anarchy, and/or communism (and their socialist apologists and sycophants)? I see them at just about every rally and march handing out their literature, waving signs, and chanting slogans. There are more of them than you might think.

  35. The only ones protesting now are insignificant leftards who lack the spine to do anything but march, shout, and occasionally riot. These are the same people who show up at every G-7/G-20 meeting and they will be dealt with effectively as before.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_G20_Toronto_summit_protests
I might have been concerned if Trump had lost. That would have brought out highly motivated protestors with guns.

  36. In our society it is a citizens duty to bear witness.. Whom ever released the information had a civic duty to provide the true information to the public.
What would we think if all the hacked info was hidden (for a price)? That would be malfeasance & interference!
The “USA Citizen of the Year” award may go to Putin, or someone in the NSA…They did right to the Republic

  37. “Almost everyone want’s peace, stability and prosperity.”
    ~North of 60
Peace is not simply the cessation of armed conflict. There is no peace without justice.
The invasion of Georgia and Ukraine and the taking of their sovereign territory must have consequences for the aggressive invader or they will invade more and their will be imitators who will do the same.
This is a fact of human existence and also anathema to peace.
Many here at SDA think that Putin is a strong leader and condemn western leaders who appear to be thoughtlessly leading us to war?
Putin is a warmonger, a despot, an Oligarch. He cares not for Russia, he cares for his own self enrichment first, and cares for his standing with the other Russia Oligarchs second.
If our leaders were to act as Putin does, we would already be in a shooting war with Russia.
All the pro-Russian fanbois on this site make me sick.

  38. “I see them at just about every rally and march handing out their literature, waving signs, and chanting slogans. There are more of them than you might think.” We have a hard core of the same filth here in Canada.
If these people are prepared to take lives then it does not take many to take over a country as there were only about 3,000 Bolsheviks in October 1917 and they had no compunction about shooting people and took over a country of 100 plus million.
The left definitely seems to be going through the list you mention in an earlier comment. But, are the people swallowing it or ignoring it. The people seem to be showing up by the thousands for Trumps ‘thank you’ tour events.

  39. There’s always the possibility that the alleged hacks were a “false flag” operation.
That is, a collaboration between Ohbummer and Putin, with the intention of pinning it on Trump in some way.
This possibility needs to be investigated.

  42. Yeahwell, Ooz ain’t the brightest light on the tree, he doesn’t understand that one can agree with something a person does without liking the person or agree with other things the person has done. It is possible that Trump may co-operate with Putin in the middle east, and yet oppose him in other areas.

  43. Let’s first agree that any Russian hacking that took place DID NOT sway the outcome of the federal election, that Trump won and Clinton lost all on their own, and that Trump is indeed the rightful US President-elect.
But, when did Russia suddenly become a friend to SDA’ers? Isn’t the fact that Russia even attempted cyber-espionage to interfere with an American election sufficiently concerning in and of itself, even to pro-Trump supporters? Are you really so partisan that you’re willing to defend a Vladimir Putin just to maintain your unwavering opposition to all things Obama/Democrat?
I get that some here are hyper-sensitive about anything that might be seen as undermining the legitimacy of the incoming Trump administration. But claiming that there’s “no evidence” of Russian involvement simply because you’re not personally privy to highly classified intelligence briefings? And it’s not just US intelligence agencies concluding this. German intelligence has reported the same thing about recent hacks to Merkel’s CDU party servers. Estonia, Georgia, Ukraine — all hacked in the past decade, all with pro-Western governments at the time, and all reporting similar Russia fingerprints.
Remember Harper’s “Get out of Ukraine” handshake with Putin back in 2014? Suddenly Putin’s just a strong, patriotic leader now that a Republican is headed to the White House?
You claim to love the idea of America, an exceptional beacon of liberty and democracy to the rest of the world. Well, a foreign state just tried to interfere in a US presidential election. Even if it failed, even if it had zero effect — where’s your outrage?
