  1. One additional fact the Mother Gaia leftoids ignore: the EUROPEAN Honeybee is not native to North America [GASP]and there are only “solitary” bees native to NA. So HOW on earth did plants pollinate BEFORE the INVASION OF WHITEY?

  2. Oh for effs sake. There was never NO danger of the honey bee buzzing off. If you don’t have a problem, create one. Rule numero 1 for dirtbags seeking gubermint money. My God. The sparrows are dying off because I only saw 20 of them at my feeder this AM. I need money to study why they are all of a sudden finding their own food, now that all the grasses etc. are growing back in the spring!!! Does nobody have the guts to call these aholes out anymore?

  3. You mean the entire oceans coral reefs aren’t dying from Global Warming either ? Bummer … does that mean that all the government tax-dollar-paid sciencitists (frauds with statistics degrees) who authored studies “linking” some random eco-catastrophe to Global Warming … will have to give their GRANT money back ? For FAILing to do basic science … and instead simply crunching statistics to mythically “prove” their hypothesis ?
Meanwhile there are starving chil’ren across the planet who could be fed with the $ Trillions of dollars wasted on this CRAP “science”. The leftists used to BITCH about all the dollars spent on NASA when they were actually doing SPACE research and travel. Now … NASA spends the equivalent of many nations entire GDP on CRAP “science” … and nobody makes a peep about all the POOR who could be helped with that $$$ largesse
Global Warming = BIGGEST FRAUD ever Perpetrated
I would love to see a modern version of the film ‘The Sting’ written about Global Warming. Maybe we can even airbrush the pockmarks off Robert Redford’s face and have him play chief huckster ?

  4. It’s not the honeybee population that is struggling it is the native bees ( bumblebees )who are more important for pollination that are struggling

  5. Here is a real problem that needs to be addressed. But I guess bats are not cute enough and the fungus that is causing this disease can’t be blamed on climate change (the fungus does well in cold weather) so you probably haven’t heard about it. And it’s spreading rapidly. It’s already decimated the bat population of eastern North America and cases have now appeared on the west coast. Bats are worth an estimated $53 billion a year to U.S. agriculture.
    White-Nose Syndrome (WNS)

White-nose syndrome (WNS) is an emergent disease of hibernating bats that has spread from the northeastern to the central United States at an alarming rate. Since the winter of 2007-2008, millions of insect-eating bats in 25 states and five Canadian provinces have died from this devastating disease. (see map below) The disease is named for the white fungus, Pseudogymnoascus destructans, that infects skin of the muzzle, ears, and wings of hibernating bats. In April 2014, WNS was confirmed in Michigan and Wisconsin.

More here on the recent case discovered in Washington:
Has the Deadly White-Nose Syndrome Spread to Bats on the West Coast?
There may be some very bad news for bats in the Pacific Northwest. The lethal white-nose syndrome (WNS) that has made brown bats nearly extinct in New York and Pennsylvania was confirmed last month in a dead bat in Washington state.
Hikers near the Cascades Mountains found the little brown bat dying alongside a trail March 11. They took it to the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), hoping this nonprofit that helps injured wildlife could save its life. But the bat died two days later.
The bat had an advanced case of WNS, which was first reported in the United States about 10 years ago. Since then, an estimated 6.7 million bats have died in 28 states from New York to Nebraska, as well as in five Canadian provinces.

  6. If only honeybees could read the articles that “scientists” have written. I’m sure they would die on time.
Bats, rabbits, bees, deer, … well, anything that can’t read what “scientists” say … die in cycles.

  7. All well and good, but don’t you realize they’re the wrong kind of honey bees!?! They’re not thick and old enough dammit. Oh . . . sorry . . . that’s arctic ice. Well, then . . . the bees are the wrong colour, yeah, that’s it, wrong colour. So there! Proof of global warming, or something. Just send me more money.
    Your local environmentalist.

  8. Wrong, bdoggins,
Native bees aren’t struggling either. That was the latest doom & gloom scare that was invented when the honey bee devastation story was debunked. The wild be myth was debunked some time ago.

  9. Don’t confuse me with facts, I have issues. Lemme see … fracking, Monsanto, GMO’s, AGW, vaccinations, chem trails, ancient aliens … did I leave any out?

  10. People…people…people…beepocalyse is sooooooo 2015…the latest is now the earth worms that are being destroyed by neonicotinoids. People can actually see/count the bees but not what crawls hidden in soil. The ban on neonicotinoids will all be worth it if it saves just one worm! Forward!
