No, I never did. And I don’t understand why it was a flop when it was made.
But, if it hadn’t and if the copyright had been renewed, then it wouldn’t have the exposure it has had. No one knows, or can know, the long-term effect of the movie, so maybe it was written in the Heavens that it should be so. How many families sit around together to watch this touching film every Christmas?
For myself, I quit watching it after the tenth time.
