  1. Cross-dresser. Prolly pees sitting down too.
You’d think a Talib would have a beard, given that they used to punish guys if their beards were too short back in the day when they ran Afghanistan.
    meh

  2. A “Taliban Commander”? I don’t think so.Where’s the sacred and mandatory beard? There’s something wrong with this but I hope I’m wrong.
    BCer

  3. He forgot to shave the moustache. On second thought, maybe Muzzi women have them too.

  4. Having no beard is part of his disguise to avoid looking like one of the standard Talibans.

  5. How dare you put quotes around the word “she” (oh crap)! A little respect for the transgendered, thank you, or I’ll have Caitlyn kick your sorry ass around the block.

  6. Thank you, Afghanistan, for exhibit A as to why these coverings must not be permitted in a free society.
Did I just state that Afghanistan understands freedom better than the Supreme Court of Canada?

  7. I want to ask that motor mouth naquib nenshi, would he be upset if all the police wore face coverings, a naquib or a balaclava?

  8. Wouldnt it be amazing if one of the mainstream news organizations flagged this as a validation of the concerns of 80% of Canadians – sorry, dreaming again.

  9. If he/she self identifies as a woman, who are we to judge? I say we give him/her the Caitlen Jenner courage award or something.

  10. The Court of Appeal just came out with the ruling in favour of the niqab/burka controversy. The Charter seems to be working more for immigrants than for Canadians. As I have posted here several times our ‘betters’ have told us that we have to first tolerate different cultures, then accept them, and now that we have done that like good little peace loving Canadians we’re now well on the road to submission. This case should never even have come to trial/appeal/whatever. The niqab is not a part of religious dress! It is not required in the Muslim religion other than to cover a woman from head to toe because in the Koran(Quoran)a man is instructed to beat his wife if she does not obey but the bruises from the beatings must not be visible, hence the niqab/burka. Anybody that doesn’t see this is as thick as two short planks and dumber than a pail of frozen hockey pucks. Time to tell the “Laurentian Elite” that this ruling does not sit well with the majority of Canadians, especially the women voters of Canada, and make sure this judgement is overturned ASAP. The Liberals and the NDP are calling this a wedge issue or a non issue because they are trolling for immigrant votes thinking that their base is secure. If you are a Canadian and enjoy your lifestyle in this country you had better speak up in this election because if this goes unchallenged the coming new wave of immigrants and refugees will be converting Canada into a third world sewer.

  11. Thing is, I don’t think most immigrants agree with wearing a niqab. It is extremism like this that gives immigrants a bad rap. I think most would also support the zero tolerance for barbaric practices, since it is a small minority doing these things and making others look bad.

  12. The problem Linda is that it is the extremists that are forcing the issue and we are submitting to them. This issue should never have made it to court. This is not about religious tolerance it is about forcing us to submit, this is the very essence of Islam. The Islamic extremists in France and Britain are already imposing Sharia Law in those countries in the No-Go areas, and the governments there have relinquished these areas to the Muslims. I would point out that the Nazis were only a small fraction of the German people in the early Thirties, but they created havoc within Germany and then throughout Europe. Canadians better develop a backbone and elect a government that understands the primary purpose of a government is to protect the society that formed it, not to abdicate its duty to whining, vociferous, extremists.

  13. He wanted to look like one of his girl friends, so he shaved his beard and kept his mustache.
