realy, you must git a different load of comments than I do, what the comments miss, as is usual, is that there are 2 warring factions, and cannon fodder in the middle, as usual!!!!

I guess knives are far preferable to chemical weapons. After all, one can make surgical strikes on single children with knives minimizing collateral damage. Just imagine how bad the situation would have been in Rwanda if the warring sides used chemical weapons instead of machetes.
They seemed angry to me, upset that the child was beheaded, not triumphant.
Who knows what is true? I don’t think I do. All the more reason to stay away from this.

Based solely on what I saw on the video I suspect the killers were Islamists (rebels) because the young girl missing her head was dressed in a Western style not a burka as demanded by the head chopping hordes.

“Allahu Ackbar” does not translate to “God is great.” It means, literally, that allah is the greatest god. Islam had its roots in polytheism, as much as they refuse to admit it. Allah has more in common with Baal than with the God of Abraham.

The phrase “The greatest god” does not even come close in relevant context to “no other gods”.
One phrase accepts “other gods” as material reality the other does not.
The Christian context can easily mean gods as in the form of self worship as many in Atheistic Religions practice.
The biggest difference with Islam and all other world religions outside of religious atheism, is that it is not tolerant nor can it coexist with any other religion. This is proven by community and border fighting/ wars between Islam and ALL other world religions around the globe.

Looks like the Turks want to step it up a notch. Normally I would think this a ploy to drag NATO into the conflict but since Obama is such a sweet guy, Nobel prize and all, I know this to be an impossibility.

I have been concerned about McCain for some time now. Considering what he went through in North Vietnam he should be an honoured senior statesman in the USA but I don’t want him to have more authority than a Senator.
As brutal as the video was it should be shown throughout the west IMHO. It is far past time that the true nature of these people is widely known. Barbaric! No further immigration from this region should be allowed as well.
Lately I have been wondering if being a senator is already too much.
Look at the guy in the opening frames – these people are mourning the loss of family and/or neighbours.
They may be expressing their grief and making a point in a way we wouldn’t, but we haven’t endured years of Baathist oppression followed by a civil war where ordinary people are being slaughtered in droves.
It’s a harsh way to make the point, but the bodies of the children pretty much are irrefutable evidence.
So if Hollywood heart-throb President Empty Chair wants to buy in, he should stop watching ‘Sum of All Fears’ and ‘Syriana’ and start watching ‘Behind Enemy Lines’ and ‘Tears of the Sun’ and start raining down hellfire on all these murderous militias and units, until they get the message to stop slaughtering helpless people.
