Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

amazing. this technique makes a flat painting into a 3D scene
A beautiful example of completely useless technology.
Tilt – shift lens are very useful for architectural photos, where perspective is distorted by position of the camera holder.

Oh please, all she’s demonstrating there are the limits of tilt-shift lenses. If she’d used a proper view camera she’d had much better control of perspective and plane of focus. Tilt-shifts are largely expensive photographic failures due to lack of adequate range of motion.
Picky skip, just picky. Sometimes you just want tilt/shift control without going to the expense of going large format. Why go out an but a 3 ton stake truck when a tiny trailer behind your Honda will do.
Beautiful. Made me pause and take a look at these paintings again in conventional photographs. Wonderful to see something (most of them anyway) familiar look new
