Naturally this plight is explained to the desperate voters as the consequence of the remaining vestiges of capitalism. The growing impoverishment, we are told, is occurring because socialism hasn’t gone far enough. Only give the government more power and all will be well. And so the low information voters turn out in the streets offering to exchange what little freedom they have left for some low paying jobs and a little welfare. The poorer they are the more eager they become to trade their last liberties for one more benefits check.

Seriously is it any different in North America? Both the USA and Canada continue to spend way beyond the ability to pay. Both governments are actively devaluing their currencies. A socialist might argue that it is a just redistribution of wealth but the wealth is being consumed maintaining a standard of living that is not sustainable. Options to do otherwise and freedoms assumed by many will fall by the wayside as we slide to the ultimate economic collapse.

All of the msm in Canada is subsidized in one way or another, and they want more and more of our hard earned taxdollars. Put the blame were it belongs, socialist politicians for 50 years have promised heaven and earth to those who will vote for more freebies and goodies as long as some else pulls the wagon while they ride. Now there are more people in the wagon than there are pulling the wagon and us dummies who have been pulling are retiring and giving up. “Whip The Horse That Pulls” is the motto of the socialists and the freeloaders. Now the wagon’s in the ditch and the horses have broken their traces and have decided to quit while they are still alive and go grab a few mouthfuls of grass. By the time this mess is done the freeloaders will be following a Raven’s ass for their next meal. And I and others like me will be tending our little Dacha gardens and watching the world go by.
Finally I’ll be able to afford that Mediterranean villa in a few years 🙂

Actually RFB, the people are to blame for the mess. Politicians of any persuasion must be voted in to enact what they believe. If the socialists promise heaven on earth, even if they don’t believe in it, YOU must buy the steaming pile of biomass they are peddling. The general election with Joe Clark against Pierre Trudeau [1979] was seminal in that it was the first in my memory which went to the most convincing liar. Before then there was some regard paid to the common welfare, and to the plausibility of statements by politicians.
I don’t think that even Mr. Fernandez fully understands the depths of the problem. Simply put, socialism provides no pricing mechanism. Communists must face the impossible task of correctly pricing 100 million or so objects, with any mistake resulting in gluts or scarcities, while socialists interfere to greater or lesser extent, usually greater. This results in inefficiencies of greater or lesser magnitude.
Now these are all cold intellectual words. Cold words, which translate into human misery without bound.
The NSDAP government of Germany, the Third Reich, was very clever (infernally so) in that they did leave much of the natural pricing mechanism of capitalism intact. I stand to be corrected on that. Generally that government was competent. We would have had an easier job of it had it been less so.

Exactly so. None of the Warsaw Pact nations would accept each others’ currency valuations. As a result, trade among them was only possible either by direct barter or by going on international money markets and buying US dollars.

Only the mistresses of major shareholders of global banks, who will have gangs of charladies in hijab to do all the housework and look after all the real trouble of raising their designer babies, or the recognized sons of the banksters, who can look forward to having all the kingdoms of the world for their inheritance and all the peoples of the world for their slaves, will get to “enjoy the decline.” And enjoy it they will. For example, with marriage soon to be discarded as a Christian anachronism, the sizes of the harems of the banksters, crammed with submissive slaves of all sizes, shapes and parts (who can be trusted, if they have any sense, not to complain about their duties even if they have enough English to complain with), will be limited only by their stamina and their bank balance. That is why Christian Europe is being robbed of its inheritance by compliant governments at the same time as Islamic immigration is suffered to continue uncontrolled. Europe is first in line for foreclosure, and (so far) everything is going according to plan.
When will Jews learn that it is the Left that hates them. Jews vote NDP and Liberal in Canada and for Obama in the US.
It is no wonder the “Shiny Pony” is pandering to Muslims in a province where Muslims now outnumber Jews 2 to 1. That ratio is going only one way, and it is not going the way of the “Chosen People”, so to speak.
