Please bestow on my Vancouver Canucks the strength of will to absolutely destroy the merciless Boston Bruins (or even eek out a one goal win in overtime would be fine!) In return, I promise to dutifully bite my tongue for the summer whenever a Far Left Socialist is saying something really, really stupid and advocating ideas that will hurt my country.

Please, Dear God of Hockey, ensure that tonight in Vancouver we shall see much more of this and this and possibly even this! Most of all, please give us the victory . . . for the children.
Update: My girlfriend’s son put his PhotoShop skills to work to create this amazing image, which you’re most welcome to download the hi-res original of!

Cooper, I’m watching the replay on TSN2. Go Lions!
either way (witch i hope boston wins so i don’t have to here the gloating tomoro at work lol.) there will be rioting as the people well most people are pretty classless along with the like of edmontonians and montrealers …no class and the ones that do have class genrally end up footing the bill and feeling the pain but basically it is to be excpected in those cities as they are festering with leftards and we no what happenes when leftards don’t get there way yes a tantrum!!! except this will probly cost millions!!!
Nine minutes left in the 3rd and the CANUCKS are toast.
4 zip-
Maybe they can assemble a furniture cabinet to hold champagne and celebration of the Stanly Cup.
That sucks,no happy endings in Canada, unless,of course, you’re in a ‘community clinic’.
I had a feeling it was over for Vancouver early on, they should never have had a fat guy sing the anthem.
Now when/if the NFL can get off their @ss,
it will be a great Autumn.
I believe I said Boston in six. Missed it by that much:)
hope no one gets cut on the head with a beer bottle-
I would have preferred the Canucks win, but the Bruins seemed to get better every game and the Canucks just could not get the puck past Thomas.
Recchi and Thomas can retire having won the ring.
The best team won.
Boston proved to be a class team and actually I’m happy for them. I think what this shows hockey fans in general is that the Eastern conference is tougher than the Western conference, because the Sedins just can’t compete at this level. Of course, the way Thomas was playing, you need some breaks and it was only a matter of time until the luck ran out. I sense a riot coming on, but I wouldn’t blame leftards for that, most other things sure, but your average rioter is just some drunk loser (probably don’t vote either).
Congrats to the Bruins, great effort all series long.
Great to see Mark Recchi play his last game as a Stanley Cup winner.
Unfortunately I was right last year when I told a co-worker that Vancouver would not be allowed to win the cup, and that how the game was called would be how the league would keep it from happening. It’s gotta grate on Thomas, he was the best player out there for the football game on ice, but Canuck fans won’t be willing to give him the credit he deserved because our team got to where they were by playing hockey, and will always remember that if it had been the same style of game as the rest of the season then it would have been a lot closer.
I’m embarrassed to be a Vancouverite. The Canucks sucked in this series and they didn’t deserve to win. They played like boys, not men. Boston spanked them. The best team won. Luongo is as flakey as a little tweener girl. It’s time for him to go.
A search on wikipedia for Vancouver riot 2011 already has an entry stating riots go through until morning of June 16th. Nice work Wiki.

Best part of the whole game..was when the crowd boo’d Bettman!
Well good on the Canuck fans at the end of the game – that was pretty classy.
Oh, and considering Uncle Don’s wardrobe this evening, it’s to Manny Malhotra’s benefit to have diminished eyesight.
And so it begins…

Never feel bad about being right…Generally.
The anarchopunks are too predictable.
Im watching the punks taunt the cops and all I know is I’d make a bad cop.
Daryl M: “Luongo is as flakey as a little tweener girl. It’s time for him to go“.
Sorry, the Canucks are stuck with his big fat $10M/yr contract for a bunch more years yet!
Wow, all the Vancouver hater`s.. We piss in you`re cornflakes, poor babies.

The Vanc Coach made sure his confidence was broken in game 3, left him in goal after 4 goals…That changed the series big time..
Does the Coach have connections with gamblers?
JMHO
I liked the photoshop. Nice job. Needs some flames though 🙁 Sad day to be a Canadian hockey fan.
Prophetic shot in front of Hudson’s Bay where two cars were burning and got the store awning burning as well.
What a crock. I work a block from the arena. The crowds were always mostly yobs, and the frenzied psychosis surrounding the Canucks has been building for years. Smug and rude when they’re winning, and nasty and unforgiving when they lose. What else do you expect in a country which effaces its cultural, ethnic and religious identity, and a city which tells itself how deserving and entitled it is: to pleasure, compliments and self-satisfaction? Strange and psychotic idols and heresies. Do you relaly expect people to behave decently when things go against them in these circumstances? Not a chance. The old adage is again proven – those who believ in nothing will fall for anything – and will do anything.
All the riots have done is give us a glimpse of the darkness in the heart of Vancouver, and Canada, that is beating ever stronger. God help us all when the money and the entertainments run out.
