Someting similar happened to me recently. I was sitting in the local Gummint office to get some details of my father’s OAS straghtened out.
Having had to pick a number, I was waiting patiently when a Muzzie with three females barged through the door literally screaming “Health Care Card-Health Care Card”. He went directly to a wicket where he was greeted with a smile and a very attentive clerk. Jumped the queue with no problem at all. No wonder they act like total assholes. We enable them by kissing theirs.
I have books on Islam showing pictures of Mohammed minus a face drawn by Turks from the 16th century, my devout brother inlaw from Malaysia was uncomfortable and said it was wrong. I pointed out that no doubt this painting depicting a scene from the Koran was done by a Muslim that believed they were devout and correct. I also said that the purpose of not drawing him was to prevent him from becoming an idol, which is exactly what he has become a an invisible idol that is worshipped on the same level as god or Jesus. Exactly what he didn’t want. It was a difficult learning experience for my brother inlaw who had never been exposed to different patterns of Islamic belief or critical thinking on the subject.
Since no one has actually seen Mohammed or a picture of him, how can they claim it is him? In fact unless the picture is labeled “Prophet Muhammad” it could be any Arab and Arabs named Mohammed are a dime a dozen.

Eventually the steam went out of him and he wandered away.

Last week at work, a major tourist attraction in Ontario, a half dozen Muslims spread out some rugs and got down and prayed. Problem was they were pointed west. I toyed with the idea of pointing it out to them but thought better of it. There isn’t much evident sense of humour in a lot of them.
Now you’d think that a God so anal as to expect his subjects to be down on their knees 5 times a day might get a little PO’ed by that faux pas; make a pair of goat horns sprout out of your head or something. Personally, I wouldn’t go anywhere without a compas.
I am sooooo happy that Kate is back! Okay.. I can breathe now.. I can return to my regular schedule of SDA’ing four times a day.
